I think I'd actually prefer that to be honest.
I want the players to play like their real life selves instead of depending on my skill (or lack thereof) with the controls.
    Yup it does.

That can't be the case or why have the meter at all? The meters affect gameplay, and the player ratings affect forgiveness and efficiency when using the meters.

The dribbling is still a bit too slow and limited for me, but I really like almost every other aspect of the gameplay so far. That being said, the fouls are a dealbreaker. If that doesn't get ironed out, and it's hard to imagine it will at this stage, I just don't think I can invest the $60. It just takes a huge step back in the realism dept.

Shooting is also limited. It's just like last year. There is no variety. Keepers also behave like their 2015 counterparts in that they don't come off their line enough to challenge attackers who break through the d-line for one on ones. If those two things along with fouls are fixed PES 2016 could be a gem of the game. I'm not sure they will though with so many people praising the game. If they supposedly have a 95 percent satisfaction rate what incentive do they have to improve the game? All that said, the demo plays a pretty good game of football. I like the pace, momentum, crossing, tactical options and physical play.

If i fill the shot meter it blasts the ball over the bar every time no matter the player.

Is the demo available on the U.S. store? If it is I can't find it all.

                Thanks.

                  Thanks.
It is available on the U.S. store. Search for " Pro Evolution "

It took me a few tries, but I finally found it after searching for Pro Evolution

I think its a step up. They need to improve goalies and fouls still. Floating goalies are hard to look at sometimes.

They need to step up the realism of the ball. Looks too robotic still, better than last year though. This is where Fifa dominates as the spin on their ball looks amazing and mostly realistic.

Re: PES 2016: Demo Impressions Roundtable

First time I tried the demo I also felt like "meh". But I like to give it lots of chances to convince me, or at least get tired of it. Last night I played a few more matches and good stuff showed up, along with the bad stuff.

First of all, it is sure an improvement over last year. It seems teams wont hold the ball as long as last year, but still have lots of possession, a bit overpowered. CPU can pass the ball consecutive times, even under high pressure, with high eficiency. I can live with that, as it improves the challenge, but there are still lack of fouls called by the referees and the shooting is lame! It takes away the satisfaction most times. It feels good, better then last year´s, but sometimes it still feels too cheap. Its like its too easy to shoot from anywere, in any situation. I miss those situations where even good players would misjudge the shot completely due to pressure or lack of composure.

Passing feels better, its more contextual, but it should have been even better. Not very realistic but at least its fun as hell.
