Madden 25 Traditional 3 Plays across menu available in 16? I'm not a fan of the new playcalling menu from last year. It takes forever to find formations. I don't i can buy madden again until they change this playcalling menu. It literally takes 15 secs to stroll thru and find the formation you are looking for.

I actually think its easier this way. It took me a while to get use to it but once I did. I cant see myself going back to the old way.

Did they finally fix the nonsense skipping around the menu when trying to select a play?

Whoever's idea it was for 15's playcall screen should be shot! It was fine for 20-30 years...why fix something that wasn't broken? I hate how you have back out every time you want to change formations.

its horrible and went i gave up madden 15 and got fifa because of that. 15 seconds to find a play then 10 seconds to audible with the new delay. that's a delay of game penalty already smh. whatever im not buying another madden until its changed back.

The thing that drives me craziest is similar... in Madden 15, even though they changed the onscreen layout, you had the option to keep the same button layout for play selection that the previous decade's worth of games had used. In Madden 16, you're forced to use the new button layout. It makes sense logically, but with the years of muscle memory it's causing similar issues for me. Many of my go-to plays are different button combinations now, causing issues when I try to pick them without thinking about it.

You can change the button layout. In the menu, go to visual feedback and it's the first option. You can choose from XAY, AXY, or YXA.

I must have entirely missed that option this year (even though it's probably in the same place as last year - I think I was looking in Gameplay settings though) so thank you so much for that.

The new one just takes a bit of repetition to figure out. i really enjoy the way it is now, and best of all how it stat tracks your plays, and production.

I wasn't a fan of the Madden 15 play calling for one main reason, I've always just picked Ask Madden on Offense instead of searching through formations and you get 3 random plays that would take into account your entire playbook, so its always just worked for me. But in 15 the new suggested plays even though you're not stuck with just 3 choices at a time. You pretty much get the same exact 15 plays all the time. I think its because suggested play are based on community data in that situation. That was my biggest problem with it, if you just want to casually play you got stuck with a very small sample size of the play book.
