I'm a long time hardcore Madden sim guy going back to the 90s. 2005 was probably Madden's best showing.
MADDEN HAS BEEN BROKEN FOR TEN YEARS. I mean, non-functional. The reason guys are so elated this year, and I agree with them, is that Madden actually works again. It truly looks and plays like the "next gen" title we were promised during the PS3 Gen transition. That whole generation of Madden was basically unplayable if you're a sim guy.
I have nothing but praise for the current Madden dev team. They have righted the ship and finally have this franchise moving in the right direction. The focus on legacy issue deserves all the love that's been heaped on it.
