Who are the most accomplished and historically dominant players in that list?
Who are the players most would consider in the same class or tier as LeBron James?
Do most if not all of those players have more than 3 versions of themselves in the game? Is it really so outrageous for LeBron to be on 2 historic teams and his current Cavaliers team?

What's so great about the Wolves with KG, Raptors with VC, Rockets, etc.. Lots of pointless teams added.

Wolves you get prime KG (top 25 player all-time) prime Sam I am and a team that could have won the title if healthy.
Raptors, well you get VC. He had a huge impact in the 2000s.
And the Rockets you get Yao and an older T-Mac (even if he wasn't great by that point).

C: Antonio Davis, Kevin Willis
PF: Charles Oakley
SF: Vince Carter
SG: Tracy McGrady, Doug Christie, Dell Curry
PG: Muggsy Bogues, Alvin Williams, Dee Brown

These players already appear on current or classic teams.
They more or less double-dipped by getting T-Mac for the 08 Rockets.

They are a classic "video game team" (two young dunking stars), rather than historic. It's largely a free inclusion based upon what 2K is already paying.

I think he was just saying the Cavaliers weren't the only non-championship type of team to be included; that squads were brought on board for various reasons. Could be wrong though.

I'm going to ask again, are the player models on those 2000's classic teams different then the ones from today? For example, it be disappointing if '06 Wade looks exactly like '13 Wade.

This is my main concern as well. What would be the point if the player models were not accurate?

Surely there will be differences. Many of the classic teams that have been there since 2k12 have reflected differences for different seasons such as Magic's goatee taken off for the 91 team and AC Greens different hairstyle. Gotta assume they will account for that for a player like LeBron or DWade.

Of course...it will probably depend on how distinct the difference. They will probably just use younger portraits on many of the players...

They don't really have to spend a crazy amount of time on these classic players. A few touchups here and there would be great. For example, look at Onyx '06 Steve Nash compared to Silver '15 Steve Nash in 2K15. Aside from his hair, his physical appearance has pretty much stayed the same all these years in real life and 2K got that right . Now look at Ruby '98 Kobe compared to '15 Kobe. His physical appearance has obviously changed alot during that 17 year timespan in real life but 2K didn't get it right. Kobe's player model looked exactly the same, minus the afro/goatee.


I'm putting my trust that they would do this. The feel for the game would be greater knowing that you're truly playing w/ '07 Bron, '06 Wade, '05 Amar'e, or '00 Carter. I don't know, that's just my opinion on this matter.
