The whole My Career thing becoming more pointless every year Pro AM I'm not even sure if people even played any games haven't worked for me yet so that's a fail the Park always was a fail Head to Head is much better defense is great I just hate that every team plays great defense but I can live with that over every team playing like Golden State Warriors (2k15) the play now thing where you rank up kinda pointless too I think this year I'll be more head to head and play NBA Live for Pro AM with my friends

I love the driving. If I havent got an angle, I got right into the defenders chest. If I have a lane I blow by.

If I have half a lane, I can kind of get past with the defender riding my hip. It's not either/or.

One thing I would like to add here. You must learn to set your feet, square your shoulders up this year to have shot success from the outside. Perfect that before trying flashy shots. Fade always, off the dribble, side steps, etc shots are going be challenging, resulting in glorious air balls, shots being short, and completely terrible shots.

I am a warriors fan all my life playing with argueably the two best shooters in the game, Steph and Klay. If I don't learn to set my feet, I keep throwing up bricks. Loving it.

Bottom line ... Set your feet, square up your shoulders before taking shots.

Yikes...can't hit a shot to save my life and the CPU blows past any defender like they are standing still. Any time I try to go past a CPU defender they are stuck to me like glue and I can't get any space at all to do anything. It's the same with screens..CPU does one and it's like I hit a brick wall but when I try one they never get obstructed by it. They just brush it off like nothing happened.

It's just frustrating because I really want to at least be decent but I'm just failing horribly.

I hope once sliders come out it may help a bit but I'm not holding my breath.
As specified drop your skill level, get a feel for how the game plays, understand strategic success before moving up your skill level. Plus, doesn't it feel more rewarding if you need to "work" to have success? If you're able to dominate from week 1, how long do you think you'll be playing this game?

You can't put it on superstar sim and expect the same level of success you had in past game.s. I always start on pro and only move up when I can do everything well enough to blow out the AI consistentlhy.

Doing a MyLeague online franchise with a friend. Can't simulate between user picks. Brutually slow process -_-

Offline it seems like the real deal. Responsiveness online is killing me still about half a second delay on offensive and defensive moves.

There's definitely a learning curve this year. The thing that is messing me up the most is the change of controls. The one that really annoys me is Icon Passing changing from L1 to R1. So now if you're sprinting and want to do an icon pass you have to take your finger off R2 to press R1 as opposed to just being able to use your other hand to hit L1. I get that L1 is now basically the pick button but i'm a much bigger fan of how it was last year with O being the pick button. L1 + X to do a bounce pass last year felt perfect, just pressing O bothers me because I don't like having multiple buttons to do a different type of pass. There are 3 different buttons just to pass the ball, X = normal pass/ O = bounce pass/ Triangle = lob pass.

I like the game and i'm sure as I play it more and get used to the controls more i'll enjoy it even more, but the controls are my biggest pet peeve this year.

The AI stands out. The play branching and counters are crazy. Props to Czar. But you gotta work for it too and play smart. It really feels like a chess match to me for the first time ever in a sports video game. #CzarvsOG lol. Props to the whole 2K team. I see little things I don't like, but man I give this game a 10/10 right now.

This is stupid I know but I was scrolling through the teams and what is the thought process behind using LaMarcus Aldridge's picture for the San Antonio Spurs when he's wearing a Portland Trailblazers uni? Every other team the guy is in his current uni. I get that Aldridge hasn't suited up for the Spurs yet but then wouldn't it make more sense to use Duncan, Parker, or Leonard? I'm sure it's whoever the highest ranked player on the team is but it just looks funny seeing "SAN ANTONIO SPURS" and there's a picture of Aldridge with PORTLAND right across the chest.

Didn't notice how improved the graphics were until I played the first game. Everything is looking great.

Can also feel the difference in controlling the players. Much more responsive and smoother

Incredible. Lost the first game I played to New Orleans (I was Portland) but it was close. 71-67. You have to keep changing up your strategy during the game, the AI learns extremely fast (at least from what I saw) which is so awesome considering I want the opposing team to actually feel like they can think independently and formulate a strategy.

Second game as the Heat and I fell back pretty quickly 8-0 to the Magic but rallied and wound up winning 82-74. The size difference was HUGE and noticeable. At one point with subs in for Orlando, Whiteside just looked like the hulk steamrolling his way for a 2 handed dunk. AI players seemed more alert (my observation) from last year. Dragic saw that Bosh (player I was controlling) was being double teamed so he ran back around him for me to pass off and shoot a 3 or open up a new option with Wade breaking towards the basket. That shocked me kind of. Haven't really played 2k in a while and I don't remember my AI players having that level of "Oh, my teammate is in trouble, hold up I'm coming" awareness. Maybe it's just me. Idk. Either way this is going to be a great basketball sim weekend and fall

Can someone help me I started a MyCareer with my created self. I made him right handed and when I started it I noticed I'm shooting with my left hand. My question is can I change my shooting hands once I have finish creating my player and already started? Thanks in advance

The different options available for passing and how perfectly mapped and thought out it is implemented is honestly one of the best things Ive seen done in a sports game ever.
