Wholeheartedly agree with this.
Thinking about it, I bet there's a pretty good chance the decision to include the 2000 Raptors (and prime Vince Carter) came after motion capture process was completed. I mean, maybe not, but I could see there being a complication in terms of timing, importance, and execution and whatnot.
That said, it's worth stating now that Carter absolutely, positively needs his own dunk package.
Some necessities:
Full-extension, full revolution, no arm-break windmill:
Clockwise, super clean one-handed 360:
Clockwise, two-handed 360 (at the 2:22 mark, though I've seen a variation of this one in 2K already):
Reverse alley-oop off one-foot:
One-hand mega punch alley-oop:
Classic one-handed tomahawk with authority:
I'd even be cool with his in-game elbow dunk making the cut, even if a hang was added:
Separately, I feel Tracy McGrady should have the off-the-backboard as a part of his dunk package (maybe Vince too, just for that All-Star finish).
Lastly, I haven't actually thought this one through, but do you guys think anyone would ever object if, under just the right circumstances & very rare, Vince Carter could Frederic Weis someone, aka clear them entirely? Obviously if there was a surefire way to trigger it at will, it'd lose all novelty and be abused. But if they found a way to sneak it in there, almost like an Easter Egg, I feel as though it could be one of the coolest things I've ever seen on a video game.
