Here's a comparison just to get an idea.

I think it could be better, but I don't mind it. Again, after seeing what 2K15 brought to the table in terms of a classic player's entire appearance (head, hair, face, jersey), I thought Vince Carter was looking pretty legit during gameplay. But, as someone who can be a stickler for details, I can totally see where improvement could be needed.

Looking at his 2K16 likeness again, I almost see a touch of Tiki Barber there.

This doesn't 2k16 doesn't look like the best they can do.
He basically looks the same now IRL so this should have been one of the easier ones to transfer.

Legendary teams need a lot of work on the way the players look, even the uniforms are weird shorts are shorter than they really were late 90's.

They at least could have gave THE GREATEST DUNKER OF ALL TIME his own personalized dunk package to make up for it... All I see are generic athletic dunks.

Things like that, not having JORDAN'S shoes right.

Such confusing company. Maybe they leave stuff unfinished so they have things to do for next year

Funny how differently people perceive things.

He looks closer to 112 from my end.

Wholeheartedly agree with this.

Thinking about it, I bet there's a pretty good chance the decision to include the 2000 Raptors (and prime Vince Carter) came after motion capture process was completed. I mean, maybe not, but I could see there being a complication in terms of timing, importance, and execution and whatnot.

That said, it's worth stating now that Carter absolutely, positively needs his own dunk package.

Some necessities:

Full-extension, full revolution, no arm-break windmill:

Clockwise, super clean one-handed 360:

Clockwise, two-handed 360 (at the 2:22 mark, though I've seen a variation of this one in 2K already):

Spoiler

Reverse alley-oop off one-foot:

Spoiler

One-hand mega punch alley-oop:

Spoiler

Classic one-handed tomahawk with authority:

Spoiler

I'd even be cool with his in-game elbow dunk making the cut, even if a hang was added:

Separately, I feel Tracy McGrady should have the off-the-backboard as a part of his dunk package (maybe Vince too, just for that All-Star finish).

Lastly, I haven't actually thought this one through, but do you guys think anyone would ever object if, under just the right circumstances & very rare, Vince Carter could Frederic Weis someone, aka clear them entirely? Obviously if there was a surefire way to trigger it at will, it'd lose all novelty and be abused. But if they found a way to sneak it in there, almost like an Easter Egg, I feel as though it could be one of the coolest things I've ever seen on a video game.
