There is a nice crop of sp's and that trio of outfielders is quite good.

Isn't Fister a notorious flyball pitcher? That doesn't sound like a good match with the Rogers Centre.

Which wouldn't be a bad option, but obviously I'm hoping they find some way to keep Price, even though every last person doubts it even has a chance of happening. Including team options,Jays got 71M on the payroll already. And that's from the big guys, tulo, martin, bautista, dickey, encarnacion.

Considering what their payroll is expected to be next year, they'd have around 90M to spend on players. Alot of those are either pre-arb(pillar,goins,stroman) or arbitration eligible(donaldson being most notable one).

Outside of Price,Donaldson and maybe Estrada,I don't see any current Jays player(who doesn't have contract or team option next year) getting over 5M this offseason. Dickey,Stroman,Hutchison are their only SP under team control next year. Bringing back Estrada and either keeping Price,or going after 1-2 bigger name SP(Samardzija,Zimmerman,Leake,Latos ect.) would be great for them. Cause obviously this year proved their offense is fine. And no hitter in their starting lineup(unless trade happens) will be different from their lineup right now. So just about addressing the needs which is pitching.

A big fat no thanks to Matt Wieters for the Braves.

Justin Upton and Jason Heyward look pretty nice though.

So I just saw on MLB-N according to Jon Paul Morosi that the Nats are going to try and get Cal Ripken Jr. as their new manager. Granted, I didn't hear it 100% properly as I was babysitting and my niece was hyper active.

That'd be hilarious if they got those two back.

From Ken Rosenthal which is the article Morosi mentioned.

Won't happen, but if we signed even one of those guys what a coup that would be for Hart/Atlanta. Atlanta has been adamant that they won't even be in play for either of those guys, but you never know what's really going on. If I could only have one I'd take Heyward over JUp.

Man, I'd give my left one to get Heyward back.
I'd give my right one to get rid of Fredi.
