No, this isn't a HOF is too hard complaining thread. I have no problem getting around the defense, setting up teammates and shooting 60%. BUT THAT IS THE PROBLEM.
I don't want to hit so many shots with a damn 80 overall. I don't want my teammates to hit so many shots and have so many open ones because of AI fails and I don't want the CPU to either. We just won last game and the final score was 130 to 120. This is ridiculous. We shot 65% and the CPU shot 60%. Other games, it's the other way around with the CPU or my teammates hitting WAY TOO MANY shots when I'm on the floor. Most of the percentages get lowered when it's simmed because I'm on the bench. When I'm on the floor it's like 80% of shots going in.
Wade, Thompson, Lowry and others are great ball players, but they shouldn't be shooting 80% from the field and 8/9 from down town. Whether they are on my team or not there needs to be more contested misses and there needs to be WAY MORE open shot misses. Even when NBA players have time to position their hands on the ball, they still miss. Why are all fast break three pointers going in no matter who it is? There is a reason why certain players like Curry specialize in fast break threes. It's not something that is this easy.
There needs to be AI rotating tweaks especially on the fast breaks, there needs to be more vollys going back and forth because of consistent misses on both ends and there needs to be less three pointers going in. A team shooting 70% from down town, EVEN IF IT IS MY OWN TEAM, is very unrealistic.
I am bringing this up now because I recently became a starter. Before I was a starter I thought it was great how the games were going. Now that I'm on the floor everyone is hitting everything. It needs tweaking. The game is lightyears better than last year, but it seems there definitely needs to be some tweaks. I feel like 2K just can't get it right when it comes to FG%s.

Just to show all those that I AM NOT JUST TALKING ABOUT THE CPU:
Here is a game on HOF. Ever since I've gotten my stats up, I have been absolutely DOMINATING uncontrolably. NO ONE can hold me. I make so many shots, easy backdoor cuts into 5-6 dunks a game, easy lobs.. EVERYTHING is so easy when you're hot. Simply EVERYTHING goes in and the other team acts like they are in pre-school.
ONCE AGAIN, this goes for both sides. I was taken out for a long time because we were beating the Bulls so bad, but here are the stats. AND THIS IS ON HOF DEFAULT:
If you simply run smart plays, know your playbook, play patiently, run manual picks when plays fail and use your triple threat moves--you will simply hardly ever lose. This makes it just like last year and this is NOT GOOD. Games shouldn't be ending this high and everything shouldn't be going in NO MATTER WHO IT IS.
Severe AI breakdowns when you have momentum.
Before you call me a ball hog, realize my shot percentage. It is so easy to get wide open on shots and drives it's like cheating. I am going to take those shots and layups.
