Shot % Tweaks needed?

Curious how everyone feels about shooting percentages. If you feel like anything needs to be tuned, please be as specific as possible (eg. open 3PT shots off the dribble with great shooters are X% too low/high) and also let me know what mode you're seeing it in (eg. 3-on-3 Park, ProAM, MyCAREER, Play Now offline, etc.)

3 pointers need to go back to what they were in park. Too many go in now

I feel that open mid range shots need a slight improvement in % while 3 pt % is fine as it is. the contested shots need to have less of a chance to go in. (this is Pro Am I am talking about) I have no say in Park as I have almost completely stopped playing park in favor of Pro Am.

In terms of play now online.....I also think shooting is pretty good right now. I wouldn't change anything.

Game was perfect to me on release, now contested layups are going alittle too much for star players to me. Lebron and Wade never miss contested shots now.

I think online is good, maybe a tiny bit lower % if anything, but for the most part contended shots are missing as they should, and high rated players can still power through.

Reason why I say lower a bit is because in ProAm I have a Rim Protector PF with a mid range rating of like 40...and I can smash turn around faders from mid.

With that rating, I should be shooting close to air balls on those tough shots.

NOT a % tweak but you guys need to lower PIP numbers and have players take more mid range shots.

Please lower the foul frequency in Pro-Am. You don't get rewarded for putting your hands up as a big in the paint, because most of the time they will call a foul even if the other player forces up a shot and ends up getting bailed out. There's times where you would have 4 fouls at half and end up fouling out in the 3rd.

I will say that contact layups are too successful at this point (i hope this falls under what you were requesting). When the game first dropped, I was cautious with my drives but as it is now the score, draw foul or get And1 reward too heavily outweighs the turnover, get blocked or miss risk.

*edit: last night my friend hit 13 threes on me with the Mavs, many of which were off the dribble and defended well considering the shooter. Not sure if there was a tweak prior to this thread being made, or if it was an anomaly, but that was quite odd.

In Play Now the CPU makes(and takes) too many close short(2-8 footers) jumpers, especially while being contested.

Corner step back 3s at the park. They are again way too powerful. In many games it feels like 2k15 patch 4 again.

I play on Superstar sim in MyLeague Online.

While I like the percentages for open shots, I still feel the post fadeaways are too tough to hit for big guys (maybe due to sliders or the fact that contests are too detrimental to the shots). I often see D or F with tall players like Aldridge or Nowitzki shooting over smaller defenders.
I reckon that I shoot way better on post fadeaways when using "smaller guys" like Westbrook or Livingston, maybe it's due to lower post D ratings.

Also, I sometimes have a gripe when the shot is indicated as contested while the defender is behind the attacker.

I'm loving the game and wouldn't be mad if anything was changed but ....


Contested driving layups at the pro am are a bit too successful now.I like where they were closer to release . Standing layups are fine tho...


My next issue is hands up . They call foul on this way too often . Yesterday with my team up 1 a 6'3 guard decided to foolishly drive on my 7'1 center with his hands straight up and got bailed out with a petty foul . He hit both freethrows with 0.3 left and we lost the game . In real life Refs would not call that especially in the clutch .
