Ideas for a dynasty team

I am looking to start a dynasty, but I am having trouble coming up with teams. I want a team that would be tough to recruit with, but have a decent stadium and at least a few different options for jerseys. Also a team that does not have a very good team right now. Thanks

Kansas may be a good option. Very tough to recruit against the other teams in the BIG 12 and their stadium is pretty decently sized.

I started one with them.
Eastern michigan is another good option and WSU.

I did one with a teambuilder team. Made everyone seniors, simmed the first season and only did recruiting with house rules in place. Ended up with 23 scholarship players and the rest of the team were walk ons at 40-55 overall. You have to use recruiting house rules of you do this though otherwise you can easily get good recruits because they're guaranteed playing time. Finished season one 2-10 and it took me 4 seasons to even reach .500. The big thing with this though is you have to use house rules otherwise you can be a legitimate contender in year 2 because everyone will come to your school for the playing time

Tulane might be a good option for you. Couple of Uni options, plays in the Dome, not a ton of talent and quite a challenge with the right sliders.

I prefer Iowa State because I like their stadium better. No real jersey options though. But, input a recruiting house rule on them and force yourself to a small recruiting base and it can be a challenge, for sure.

Yeah, he wants some jersey options. Kansas has:
helmet: blue, white
jersey: blue, white, red
pants: blue, white, grey

Tulane is a decent choice. Large stadium in a "middle of the road" conference. Setback is there are not a ton of uniform options (green or white for everything). Otherwise, the program truly needs to be "built" from the ground up.

Another one I like is Vanderbilt. Decent stadium, very tough conference for recruiting...plus you can build up a traditionally awful program lol.

so im thinking of starting an offline dynasty becuz what the hell why not? I dont know who to pick tho looking to rebuild tho. IDK if i should rebuild a last tier team of a power 5 conference or a 1 star team. BTW im using jkits heisman sliders so its going to take some time I like a challenge. Any thoughts on what team to take?

Much the same, Vandy, Kansas and Tulane are good choices. I see a few Montana and Wyoming's on here as well.

Umass could be a pretty good start. They have I believe 4 different helmets, 3 jerseys and 3 pants. They also play in Gillette Stadium (Home of the Patriots) and it's pretty tough to recruit there because of the location and the fact that Umass is a one star. Also happen to have one of the lowest overall ratings in the game.

In my coach progression dynasty I was at UMass for a couple of years and found their uniforms annoying. They have 2 color schemes, maroon/black, and bright red/bright blue. Their shoes are the bright colors which look really weird with the maroon/black colors (which are the better looking unis IMO).

UMASS could be a fun one for me using "The Equalizer". But in 2015 they're kinda stacked with the Frofanphel (not even close am I?) to Sharpe connection. In prior experience, Sharpe catches everything.

Go with Idaho Vandals, their uniforms look like the Saints plus they play in the Kibbie Dome, great stadium. I had a fun time as their coach, and it was tough to recruit but I got some nice 3 star players.

Give them a shot, plus they are Independent so you can tailor your schedule as much as you want.
