Lorman, MS: Week 9 saw the Tigers travel to play the Braves of Alcorn State. The game did not go as planned at all. The Braves jumped out to a quick 21-0 lead by the time Grambling would get anything working in the 2nd Quarter. The Tigers would fight hard to get back into this one going with a mix of hurry up and playing solid D. By the half they had chopped the deficit 21-31 Braves at the half. The 2nd Half of the game is when things went from bad to worse as
QB Brandon Landers would go down with Dislocated Elbow(out 6 weeks) and starting DE Jason Banks would go down with a Bruised Shoulder(out 2 weeks). Back up QBs David Brown and Desmond Brantley tried do their best to fill in for Landers but to no avail. The Tigers would only manage to put up 10 points the rest of the game all in the 3rd Quarter and would leave Lorman with another lose in the record column. The Tigers are now 3-5 on the year and 3-2 in Conference play.
