What do you hope to see in Thursdays stream?

Hey guys! As many of you know, I'm big on sound and presentation. For me, in many ways, sound is my visuals. So, what improvements do you hope to see in the upcoming weeks stream? I know for many, having SOTS will help just by itself. As for me, I'm hoping to hear a much more excited Matty V, especially on homers.

I'm assuming the next stream is about presentation, judging by your post. If so, I hope there is some added excitement to walk-off/big moments, and ideally in real-time. I don't know if that's even feasible, but that's my hope.

How about a big announcement that MLB The Show is partnering with the MLB Network

For the first time pre game and post game shows from the MLB Network studio. And Also in game scoring updates from around the league with in game highlights.

I hope not, partnerships tend to create limitations.


You yourself are so excited for the different presentation layouts. If they partner with a particular network that goes away.

I'd be fine if they partnered with one broadcaster. I enjoyed the ESPN branding in past baseball games. The disconnect would be the announcers. The Show has so much announcer dialogue built up over the years that it wouldn't make sense for them to change now. So you'd have The Shows announcers on a broadcast from MLB Network or Fox or ESPN. Might be an odd mix.

I'd prefer they just remove the SHOW branding from the in game presentations. Either come up with a SHOW TV fake brand or something or just pretend the broadcasts are brandless. It's always been a bit weird to me that the in game presentation really look like they are being played in a video game with all of The Show logos everywhere. It's why I wish I could randomly apply the in game brands to all the players with "The Show" branded equipment.

I don't know why but I have a good feeling that the commentary is finally going to get big improvements compared to previous years.

I really want to see some of the presentation improvements but not that many because I want to be surprised when I play the game. I'm interested to see what they have added to commentary but it's not that big for me since I can just turn off the announcers and listen to the sounds.

What is Tuesday? what will they talk about? it seems out of place on the schedule if they cant talk about specifics.

Seeks like a Q&A, possibly via twitter or I think Ramone mentioned an AMA somewhere (maybe?) which would be ugh, Reddit. Hopefully it's twitter as I think that is more accessible. But it's not labeled a twitch stream so who knows. Having the word Plays makes it seem visual so maybe they collected some questions not answered on stream and answer them in a vblog video? Again, no idea.

I hope they have restored the batter's box presentations and animations that were cut last year, so those that prefer Broadcast presentation no longer have batters warping in and out of the batters box.

Yeah, the scores at the bottom of the screen are nice. However, hearing Matt V. going over scores when coming back from a break, or even after a batter when they pan the stadium would be interesting. Lol I don't even need highlights, just hearing scores from around the league would be pretty cool. Anything relating to "real time" would add much more immersion.

The last stream they said it would be a twitch stream on Tuesday that it was a mistake. We will see
