Just gave Scunthorpe their first win of the season, in game 21.

When do people ever use the "Cautious" team talks? Honestly, I hardly use anything aside from "Assertive
any time, "Aggressive" when we are losing, and "Passionate" when we're winning. Maybe I'm doing it wrong.

I never even use Passionate. I'm always assertive...except when my boys need the hairdryer treatment.

I use the cautious tone when talking about complacency. Its the only time I use it. And it seems to work well. If you use assertive for that it can upset certain players depending on their personality type. But it seems to fire up everyone when you use cautious for it.

However the only one I haven't found a good use for is Reluctant. Anytime I want to say any of those options I just use calm.

Yeah, reluctant has always been a head scratcher for me. I have no idea why as a manager you'd want to appear reluctant.

I use reluctant when it comes to the end of the season, for whatever reason the team performs better if I don't believe they can close it out.

So my CB was whining about not playing much so I gave him a start and well...

Saint Etienne scored 2 penalties because of him. Safe to say he won't start for a while.

Not playing much? The last time a player played that poorly for me I cut him and unceremoniously retired his number so no one would have to live with the embarrassment of sharing it again. You're far more patient than I am.

Decided to go with Brazil for my first Hero attempt. Was surprised to see that the lowest level in the game (3rd) has a TV deal. And all teams are professional. So its not a super big struggle to get in good talent from being semi-pro at that level. Teams are making just over 4M a season from the TV deal. But on the flip side, everyone else is just as good. So it could end being a struggle.

Went with POR. Was able to sign 6 players who were better than anyone else on the team on frees. And still have a bunch of money left over. But I'm happy with the squad for now. Longest pre season I've ever done. Haven't even play a game yet.

Told my GF yesterday the "marriage breaker game" is coming back out of the box! After skipping the last 2 versions of the game I bought FM 16 for $20. Started last night around 9 a career with Atlรฉtico Madrid (knew it was bad idea to start that late) and didn't finish till 1ish.

Now have spent half my work today working through coach and scouting reports. I'm back on the saddle! lol

                      So it begins...

So naturally, I started a new save with Rangers with the winter update. I breezed through the Championship. Brought in a few loans from down south and well, this season is surpassing my wildest dreams. I knew I was onto something special when I walked into Celtic Park and won 3-1.

I also started up a save with the Rangers about a week ago. I'm only about a fifth of the way through the first season, though. I think it'll be interesting trying to make them relevant in European play once we get promoted to the Premiership.

Imagine that, injury disaster in my first year in la liga, currently sitting 16th, Dani Olmo went out at the beginning of the year with a broken foot, currently 3-6 weeks from recovery, he's our starting central attacking mid. My starting right winger Pedro is out for 3-5 weeks with a torn stomach muscle, my backup left winger Kasper Dolberg is out for 2-3 wees with a calf strain, and our backup right winger/striker Bertrand Traore is out for 2-3 months with a slipped disc. My backup fullbacks are also out for about a month as well. Our upcoming schedule is rough too, Real Madrid(H), Sporting(H), Espanyol(A), Ponferradina(A) and Deportivo(H) until we start really seeing people back.

                              SIGH.

You got to tone down the intensity of your training

I just realize I have 0 trophies so far in this save. Never played in the CL nor the EL.

Looking back, I didn't realize I was in the 3rd division of the French league for that long.
