At one point, about 10 seasons into my CFM, the league wide sack total dropped off a cliff. In one season alone, not a single player in the entire league had a double digit sack total.
After noticing this, I've redone multiple CFM's to try and figure out where the diffenciency is coming from. I've tried adjusting the XP sliders to 150% for the DE's and LB's while adjusting O-line XP sliders to 50%, in hopes the lower XP would lead to lower O-line ratings like Block Shed and pass rush attributes, to no avail.
I just can't figure out what's causing the drop. It seems to only really happen with generated players because once the real players retire, generated players through the draft never seem to come close to the type of double-digit sack production the league sees on a yearly basis.
So does anyone have anything to counter this problem? Like focusing on a specific trait with defensive players more than offensive linemen? I'm already frustrated enough that defensive linemen are harder to level up (at least trait-wise) compared to O-Linemen, and I haven't been able to get the same sack production from generated defensive players as you see on a yearly basis in the NFL with real players... not just with my guys, but CPU teams as well..
