It's all about getting more proper block shedding and reducing the suction blocks. Now that this is nailed-down (well, as much as we can really accomplish on Madden until a patch comes out), we can look at things like pursuit angles, defensive aggression, and so on.
My approach is all about getting proper animations and reactions, not worrying as much about numbers. Numbers are great in large sample sizes (i.e. full seasons) but the gameplay needs to
look and
feel right. This just puts us one step closer to what we want.
