Way I understood it was that we get one character only to use during the prelude and we play right up to the draft where you will start your NBA career on 2k17 the following week when it drops. I assume this was done to prevent farming of VC all week with multiple careers since we can earn VC from what I read. If you don't like the build you choose on the prelude, you will have to roll with it for the week till 2k17 drops and then you can start a whole new mycareer.Comment

Actually you don't need answers - they were kind enough to release something Playable before pre-release. We can't demand anything - they didn't have to do this.

You could take this kind of talk a step further and try to shut down any complaints about the game if you wanted. They were kind enough to release a game- they didn't have to. this type of comment doesn't help anyone. Its better to correct the person on what is really going on and move on.Comment

Re: OK, SO YOU CAN ONLY PLAY THE PRELUDE ONCE 2K? THAT'S A NOOB MOVE!
My understanding is that the prelude is the beginning section of any mycareer you begin. So if you wait until the game is released and start another new career, you will begin the prelude content all over again as well with that particular career. The only limitation is in regards to the early demo released version of the prelude prerelease. You can only play through THAT one time and have it carry over to continue your career when the full retail copy becomes available. But again, if you create another career seperately on the game, you will get the full prelude experience with college content again to start.Comment

They should create a generator where you insert
Position: Small Forward
Height: 6'8
Weight: 225
Archetype: Point Forward
Wingspan: 82.7"
Then it gives you the maximum for each attribute, that way before selecting everything you know what
you're limited to.

Do we know if 2KU will be included in the Prelude? I want to be able to get a feel for the new controls before playing the games that would determine where I'm drafted.Comment
