Dynasty roster question
I run a spread type offense...Is there a way to not have the cpu add a fullback in the offseason? I dont need one as I use TE in that spot. Do i put a low rated player that wont play just to fill the spot?

Re: Dynasty roster question
You've got to have 1. Change the position of one Fb and then cut the one you gave a new position. I try to keep one that can serve as the third string tightend when I run an offense without a FB.I run a spread type offense...Is there a way to not have the cpu add a fullback in the offseason? Re: Dynasty roster question
I too run a spread and have no use for the full back. What I do is move a TE or bigger back over then use them in their proper position on the depth chart or formation subs. It is also a great place to stash a TE you might not need now.Relax, it's just a video game!Comment

Re: Dynasty roster question
Just started a dynasty with MTSU and they run an air raid offense. It's saying I need a FB so I'm going to make sure I either covert a bigger HB to FB so I don't have to cut another roster player or I'll find a TE that will be converted to FB to serve the same purpose.Comment

Re: Dynasty roster question
It would alter their rating at the FB position. If you move them to FB just to fill the spot, but play them at TE, they would still be their original rating.
IE hes a 75 as a TE, but a 60 as a FB. If you move him to FB he's a 60, but if you play him at TE he will still be rated as 75 for the position.Comment

Re: Dynasty roster question
OK moved a te to fb.
I have 2 freshman QBs coming in and rs freshman. Ratings are 78, 77, and 74 ovr.
I have a ath I signed who is a 80 ovr qb, 93speed, 86 throw pow and 82 accuracy. He's also a 78 at Cb and 77 at FS with 82 play rec 87 man cov and 84 zone cov Where do I out him? Secondary and backup qb? I have a commit 74 ovr at fs and 70 at ss. Also signed a Cb 7 ovrLast edited by foe84; 10-15-2016, 09:51 PM.Comment

Re: Dynasty roster question
That's really up to you... but I would put him wherever he is the most useful. Seems he would be better in the secondary (CB), since I already have QB's who are similar in rating.OK moved a te to fb.

Re: Dynasty roster question
Yeah I think you should play him all throughout the secondary and even at backup QB at times. Could play him on the outside at corner, make him a safety in other formations and just always find a way to get him in the field.

Re: Dynasty roster question
Put him in as a CB. He's 3rd on depth chart (45 awareness though eh) behind 2 JR's and will split time as nickel CB with cb below him on depth chart (better awareness, bit lower coverage ratings) and slot in some FS/SS play.
-#3 on QB chart-will be my wildcat qb.
thanks for suggestions...as much as i love dynasty mode, getting players on the field after a couple recruiting classes is a challenge at timesLast edited by foe84; 10-16-2016, 07:01 PM.Comment

Re: Dynasty roster question
I havent checked Generic Editor for PS3/360 versions but in the PS2 version, theres a database called DPRS. In it has the minimum number of players per position.I run a spread type offense...Is there a way to not have the cpu add a fullback in the offseason? I dont need one as I use TE in that spot. Re: Dynasty roster question
So if we change the field for FB to 0, we wouldn't need one?

Re: Dynasty roster question
I think so. I've only tried this in Madden and it worked. Again, this was for PS2 era of games. A lot of the database tables are the same though.Huskies. Seahawks. Arsenal. Sounders. Sonics. Mariners.

Re: Dynasty roster question
This is pretty awesome. I will explore and implement it in my current dynasty whenever I accept a head coaching position. This could be helpful, for instance, if you fail to secure a commit a hotly contested recruit or you have an unexpected transfer and would prefer to always have, say, 4 R- and LOLBs.
I will post my findings in this post whenever I am in the position to do so.***1971-72 ABA Roster 2K12 360***
