Does anybody have any tips to keep Tom Brady from retiring after the 2016 season? I've tried the coach XP retirement influence but every sim I do he retires as soon as Offseason mode begins. Thanks!

I'm in my third season and Brady hasn't retired yet but he is a Jet now. Neither has Brees.
That said, just let him retire and draft another QB. Its part of the game and real life.Comment

Side question that relates to this topic. How does the retirement package work in CFM? I still haven't taken any of them as I've stuck to player progression and contract influence. Do you get any interaction with the potential retiree, or does it just extend their career a year or two?Comment

It does not create any interaction. It just decreases the chance of players at that position from retiring in any given year. It sucks, I wish it would make them come to you so you can tell them to retire or not. Once you buy the package it is on forever so it will make crappy players with nothing left keep on playing past their expiration date.Comment
