Nice to get some momentum going with the win streak, and over a big rival no less! Hopefully you can keep it up vs Vandy, which should probably be the easiest game, rankings wise, thus far.

Man I don't know what clicked for your defense, but another great outing has quickly put the rest of the conference on notice. Allen was once again lights out and seems to be back on track, hopefully he can sustain it. Y'all got the snowball rolling, lets go beat the commodores and keep it going.

What a game!!! I was shocked that you guys dominated so completely. Don't get me wrong I expected a win, but that kind of a blowout was completely unexpected. Do you think you could make the nat'l championship if you beat Auburn, Alabama, and Arkansas and win your conference? I know that you would be a two loss team, but that would be an incredible resume.

What a great win. Your team played lights out and Allen's made a great turnaround lately.

Great to see Michigan at #1 in the polls- as a fan I simply can't wait until we're on top again IRL.

Good luck against Vandy. They aren't the best team but there's no way you're going to overlook them.

Team has really turned it around the last two weeks - always thought it was awesome to beat LSU when I was at Tulane back in the day.

Another all around complete game from your squad. The defense was firing on all cylinders and Allen's suddenly steady reliable dink and dump game really are tkaing off. It was nice to see Tompkins contribute in the passing game. It certainly wasn't his flashiest game to date but he is really showing himself as a complete back in your offense.

As always your presentation is incredible. I am particularly enamored with the picture of the Parsons fumble. You can really feel the energy in that shot.

Careful with LaForce! That one is married. We would hate to see coach Geezy getting beat up by a pitcher!

What a dub. I love seeing the scoring summary when you can tell you just drove it down their throats and didn't need big time scoring plays to put them away.

After the rough start to the season, we can always look back to our fictional friend Lou Brown, old manager of the Cleveland Indians... "OK, we won a game yesterday. If we win today, it's called "two in a row". And if we win again tomorrow, it's called a "winning streak"... It has happened before!"

Thanks Bookwork...We've finally turned the corner. We are in great shape to be able to string together several wins.

You'll rarely hear me say this, but Vandy does look like a win on paper, as you'll see in a few days when I post the game preview. They do have a somewhat competent QB and a very fast group of RBs and starting WRs, but outside of that, we should roll.

Thanks Raideraid...I don't know what's going on with the defense. All of a sudden, everyone is in the right place to make plays and our corners aren't giving up big plays over the top.

Our ball control offense plays a big role in it, but the guys on defense are playing great right now.

I was actually looking at that today...It would be unprecedented in this dynasty; every national championship participant was either a no loss or one loss team; in fact, most of them involved two undefeated teams. We definitely have the schedule to make a run, but I have a hard time seeing the trend being bucked at this stage, but I guess we'll see. All we can do right now is take it one game at a time and see where the chips stack at the end.

Crazy that we're all of a sudden talking like we are title contenders again when just a couple of games ago I was worried about possibly falling out of the polls. LOL

Yeah as I alluded to before, I think Bryce Allen has turned the corner (I.E. I, the user, have mastered my new playbook haha)

We are really playing some good, complimentary football.

Michigan has been a mainstay in the BCS picture every year in this dynasty. Not sure how far you've read back, but that's who we beat for our second of two national titles won during this dynasty (this was the last game of Part I): http://www.operationsports.com/forum...&postcount=667

Thanks man...I was just reading your work again not too long ago. I've mentioned this before, but your Tulane dynasty from way back when is what inspired me to give the Green Wave a shot. I appreciate your work and also for following this report.

Haha...No, there are no Coach Geezy shenanigans with Allie LaForce. She was merely the sideline reporter for Saturday night's CBS telecast and caught up with coach on his way to the locker room for one of those annoying halftime interviews that coaches hate.

Seeing Tompkins involved in the passing game will be the case moving forward. He had problems with drops as a freshman but he seems to have those issues fixed and is catching the ball well. I really see this player blossoming into something special.

Appreciate the compliments on my presentation as always, however I cannot take credit for that action shot. That was one of the CPU generated still-shots they show at the end of the game. I always make sure to capture those because they usually get camera angles that the user isn't able to get; that shot of Tompkins scoring a TD is also one of them.

You said it man...stringing together those 10+ play drives was a thing of beauty. We did excellent on third downs (9 of 13) and on the other side of the ball, we stopped them from converting theirs (2 of 10). Probably one of the biggest reasons we won.

Haha, never thought I'd see a Major League reference but that quote certainly fits the bill. Looking ahead at the schedule, we are in position here to really build up our proverbial war chest over these next few weeks before the huge matchup with Bama. Hopefully we don't get caught napping though; at the end of the day, this is still the SEC.

Ha...no kidding. Even with Allen playing the way he was, that would have been a tough move to pull off with a straight face.

If we made the switch, it probably would have been me removing freshman QB Jimmy McBride's redshirt and ushering in that new era a year or two sooner than expected.

Blue chip defender was in-town for on-campus visit during this past weekend's win over LSU | Green Wave hopes Williamson can step right into starting lineup next fall | Team also lands two more offensive weapons in 3-star WR Scott and 2-star ATH Bell

                      Report by Eve Jewell, TulaneInsider.com

The Tulane Green Wave, fresh off winning its second straight game this season, got another shot of positive news Monday evening as the team learned that prized Acadiana High School blue chip recruit Sean Williamson committed to sign with the school on National Signing Day. Williamson, the nation's #1 outside linebacker recruit and #2 recruit overall, visited Tulane's campus this past weekend for their game versus LSU, a contest they won handily 28-3, and Williamson made his decision shortly thereafter.

"I really appreciate TCU, LSU, USC, Notre Dame, and everyone else that was a part of this process, but I have decided to stay close to home and take my talents to New Orleans next fall; I am rolling with the Wave," said Williamson in a statement sent to the media.

At 6-2 223 pounds, Williamson reportedly runs a 4.58 40-yard dash and according to ESPN.com's recruiting summary, he is "one of the most intelligent and instinctual linebacker prospects to come out in the past five years." Williamson led Acadiana with 123 tackles and 7 sacks last season as a junior and currently has 57 tackles and 6 sacks through four games this season. With current Tulane senior OLB Ja'Adam Wilson (80 ovr) set to depart after this season, the team hopes Williamson can step right into the starting lineup.

"We envision Williamson being a candidate to man the "slash" linebacker position, which is a hybrid DE/OLB; we think he is fast enough to cover while also being good enough to get after the quarterback," said Tulane head coach D. Geezy.

"We're pretty hyped up about this signing and I know (defensive coordinator) Steve Ellis is champing at the bit to get this guy into the lineup.

"We will have a Sean Williams and a Sean Williamson at linebacker next fall, so we may need to come up with a nickname to distinguish between the two."

Williamson wasn't the only player to commit to Tulane this week. He was joined by two more players, 3-star Mississippi WR Rodney Scott and 2-star Texas ATH Kenny Bell, a junior college option quarterback who most project as a wide receiver at the FBS level. With the team having already gotten a commitment Louisiana 4-star WR Adam Lawson earlier this month, this brings their total number of commitments thus far this year up to four.

Quite a few nice commits already! Great to get that linebacker, he looks to have good speed for a linebacker and solid moves and tackling. Very nice pickup!

Nice pickup in Williamson (corny nickname, I would add, would be William's Son). Linebackers with speed and possibly positional versatility to play also as a box safety is a rare commodity, and he'll be a nice piece to move around on your D.

What is his coverage ratings like? Like I just mentioned if he's adequate his size can make him an in-the-box safety as well. Add to his DE qualities and you have a future stud.

What a victory, you're right in that you were definitely able to coast. Nice to see that QB1 finally got his head on straight and put together a solid performance for you. As long as the offense can put together a good (not great) performance, you seem to be within a shot of winning most games. And that looks like it'll be true for the near future with the BIG recruit pickup in Williamson!

First of all you took out them d@mn Tigers. Nothing is better in the game then taking them down when you build up another in-state school. That was one long bus ride back to BR for them. The stride that Tulane has found these last couple of games could be deadly the rest of the way.

Second on the recruiting trail the Talent in Louisiana looks pretty crazy this year. Looks like the '14 class IRL. Coach Geezy is keeping them boys at home and away from Bama the fence is up and Bama is keep locking them boys up coach.
