I'm pretty bummed that this patch seems to have destroyed the Skills Trainer. It runs at what appears to be about 12 frames per second.
Any fixes?Comment

Played 5 games in my offline 32 team control franchise. All-Pro, no slider adjustments, normal speed.
Now, I'm in the first week of pre-season, so that's both good and bad for testing this patch. "Bad" because there's no real way to gauge actual challenge from the CPU because of playing with back-ups. "Good" because I can see the differences between higher and lower rated players.
The main thing I'm seeing thus far is that QB accuracy seems to be a lot more realistic. Back-ups are struggling in mostly mid-range attempts, floating balls and missing curl routes that end up as INT's. Also noticing an improvement in incomplete passes off of throwing across the body on a run, even from starters like Cam Newton. I don't think it's perfect, but it's a definite improvement. I'm also noticing that OL/DL battles are looking a bit more natural for me, and I notice an increase in pressure on the QB when the back-up OL's are in.
I'm also really happy that they got rid of the constant drop down menus when you did a move on the line. Every time that happened, I thought there was a flag on the play.
Overall, I'm pretty pleased with what I see.Comment

I'm seeing the exact same thing. Also, more dropped passes like it was when released. Punting accuracy sliders need to be adjusted lower for both Human and AI.Played 5 games in my offline 32 team control franchise. All-Pro, no slider adjustments, normal speed.

Re: Madden NFL 17 Patch 1.10 Available Now, Patch Notes Included
Finally got a game in with the new patch. Just one game but fairly impressed. Was able to get constant preassure in first half with elite pass rushers. Had five sacks and the qb evaded the rush a couple times and made big plays. Second half the throw ball as soon as I would break block came back and wasn't much fun. I also got sacked 6 times as my timing was off. Blitzes worked against me with preassure actually taking deep routes away.
I was going against a 97 overall scrambling qb. If they could make the whole game play like that first half and add the qb taking off when they should this would be an amazing game on the field.Comment

Does Rex and the team know about the CB sliding issue while attempting to cover out routes? I'll turn my reaction time sliders up a bit to see if it alleviates the issue.Comment

its always good to capture video of it , ps4 and xbox1 both have ability to record game play on consoles and by streaming to twitch. I would kindly suggest making a few videos to highlight what your talking about , and send them to Rex on twitter.Comment

I don't know if anyone has run into this and I know that people have said that you don't need to restart your CFM.
Just putting this out there, I was playing in an existing CFM against the Giants and there punter had three punts that went for about 15 yards into the wind. The same issue as before.
I started a new franchise and was playing the Browns and the punts into the wind were great. Not sure why. I didn't change anything in my existing CFM except putting Speed threshold back to 50 from 70, Everything else was 50'd.
Beyond that IMO the patch has been great. I've adjusted Penalties, QB accuracy to 25 for both and lowered Human interceptions to 35. Playing All-Pro. Beat the Browns last night 23-13. It was a good game. I wasn't able to constantly score which is what I was running into prior to the patch.Comment

Good information to get out there. If a user with an old cfm file can corroborate we can post on here "suggest restarting cfm". TaI don't know if anyone has run into this and I know that people have said that you don't need to restart your CFM.

Re: Madden NFL 17 Patch 1.10 Available Now, Patch Notes Included
CHANGES I'VE NOTICED SINCE PATCH OFFLINE CFM
Game Settings: All Pro with user only defeated sliders -50 points
1) CPU QB will throw a few more errant passes. However, because I control DE, I was able to force those throws anyway. Still, a bit more realistic here.
2) More dropped passes for both user and CPU concerning contested catches.
3) Smarter blocking by HB's regarding blitz pick ups.
4) CPU zone coverage carrying receivers a bit longer, making for a more difficult throw in timing to an anticipated window. Much more realistic.
5) Wind only 10 miles an hour in both games I played but CPU punter had more realistic yardage on kicks.
6) Hard to describe but line play appears improved. Wish I could explain why, but everything just looks cleaner, less stiff and more natural.
There are two glitches I noticed. One was where left guard, with nobody to block, warped sideways outside the numbers in less than a seconds time. This happened only once. The other, and far more concerning, was my left tackle ghost blocked an imaginary player, while allowing opposing DE to rush untouched. That happened twice over a 4 game span.Comment
