It's sort of pulled back and a bit top-down, so it follows the ball very well from contact. It's probably the closest the game has had to a broadcast fielding camera in the way it's positioned. The HR I remember seeing did follow the ball completely and looked great, though I'm not sure what, if any, impact their HR cam will have (hopefully none).

I assume since there has yet to be a response that we still cannot disable the home run cam, but I agree the camera is a huge upgrade.
