Basically, scout everyone's first trait except for WRs and CBs and FBs (only people with a projected round, no one projected undrafted). Then sort the sheet by draft status and scout the second trait of anyone listed as a potential blue chip. Then sort by draft status again and scout the 3rd trait of anyone still listed as potential blue chip. This should be completed somewhere around week 14 or so. For the rest of the time you can scout potential red chips at positions of need (just don't touch WRs or CBs yet). Once FA stage 2 hits and you can enter all the combine numbers, you can scout the WRs and CBs and still be able to finish scouting a few red chips.
