There are so many pitching prospects it's going to be very tough to pick which ones make it due to roster limitations. But I'm hyped to get a franchise going with all the talent in the system!

OSFM 2017 Atlanta Braves
Hey guys, just wanted to set this thread up with a few links for Braves prospects to help with the OSFM rosters. Also, for any other roster discussions:

Re: OSFM 2017 Atlanta Braves
How close to major league ready will Acuna be? I have seen where his MLB ETA is 2020 and I know he's only going to be 19 for 2017 but I really want to get him up to the Braves asap (?2017?) with an obligatory 'hakuna matata' walkup. If his OverAll is well below 65 (and I assume it will be?) I'll hold off promoting him to the majors. If he is even close to 65, and even if it stunts his growth, I may let him ride the bench as the 5th OF'er. I really dont want to wait til 2018 or later to promote him up to the bigs but I guess I will if I have to. lol no patience lol
On one of last years (OSFM V3.5?) rosters Acuna was a 58 and a C potential so there was no way I'd call him up then. Maybe his potential will be slightly/greatly higher this year? I am just ready to get my Acuna Matata going.

great work on Acuna guys! looks like it will be 2018 before I can realistically bring him up to the bigs, if then.
I have my work cut out for me, getting him up and running as quick as possible.
thanx again, Caulfield.Last edited by Caulfield; 04-09-2017, 09:17 AM.OSFM23 - Building Better Baseball - OSFM23

Re: OSFM 2017 Atlanta Braves
Acuna hasn't played a full season yet he was hurt a good part of last year in Rome. I actually wouldn't be surprised if he goes back to low a to get more at bats before he is promoted to high a. I think 2020 is a good ETA at best he will be up late 2019.

This is probably not the place to ask, but does anybody know if Brian Snitker is in "the show 17"? I ask because in the past games 1st year managers have not always made it in.

I think you know the answer.
Edit: actually, was he a coach on any MLB team last year?Comment

Re: OSFM 2017 Atlanta Braves
Considering he managed quite a few games last season, I'd think he would be in the game.Comment

Re: OSFM 2017 Atlanta Braves
despite never playing in a game, ronnier mustelier made the default roster
they have him in lf with 1b,2b,3b,cf and rf as secondary positions and an 82 potential
you can cross him off your list to import
they did mess his age up, he's 32 not 22Last edited by Caulfield; 04-01-2017, 08:03 AM.OSFM23 - Building Better Baseball - OSFM23
