Cavs make easy work of Thunder 114-100
OKLAHOMA CITY -- Russell Westbrook is the midst of a historic season chasing Oscar Robertson and attempting to a average a triple-double for an entire season.
Unfortunately, Oklahoma City isn't reaping any benefits in the win column.
The Thunder fell to a league worst 16-37 after a 114-100 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Cleveland controlled the game from the opening tip and a nine point lead after one quarter would be their smallest of the night.
LeBron James led the Cavs with 28 points, Kevin Love had 20 points and 13 rebounds, and Kyrie Irving added 23.
Channing sparked the Cleveland defense off the bench with 4 block and chipped in 13 points on offense hitting three of four 3-point attempts.
Westbrook finished with 34 points and 7 assists, but an uncharecteristic one rebound.
Cleveland finishes their four game road trip with a 3-1 record.
"We would have loved to be 4-0, you know we gave everything we had," James said. "We go home extremely proud of what we did on this road trip."
The Cavaliers signed forward Derrick Williams to a 10-day contract after the Miami Heat recently waived the No. 2 pick in the 2011 draft.
A day after former Knicks star Charles Oakley was forcefully removed from his seats at Madison Square Garden and arrested after an altercation near Knicks owner James Dolan, James said: "Charles Oakley for President." James' comment followed an unusually short media session, and was said after the crowd near his locker had dispersed.
