Seems if I find a slider set that can beat me, every game no matter ratings is a potential loss. I can stomach an upset every once in awhile, but I tend to lose interest when every cupcake matchup is still a struggle. I understand my first few seasons are gonna be toss ups or losses. I used to use an older version of the community sliders that seemed to fit my style but the current version is just a notch above my abilities. Just curious anyone that has used over a number of games in a dynasty if they were still able to roll cupcakes, have tossups against even matched opponents & rivalry games, and have an absolute struggle against the big boys?
Thanks for trying these out as well. To your point...For me, I'm a very skilled player just like most who end up conquering every slider set they seem to try out. That's why I took the time to develop my own, around my own playing style.

I play a sim style game. Meaning, I set the challenge high so that I can really focus on my decision making in the game. Things like not using the plays in the game that constantly become exploits. Restricting playbooks. Even using House Rules for recruiting, and restrictions based on my Team's prestige. (here's a link that explains House Rules. Check out PocketScout's post)

Dynasty House Rule Ideas

I do this so that the approach is more realistic in terms of how long it actually takes a program to become a powerhouse. As my team gets better, some games do become easier, but it still will not let me off the hook to begin playing erratically. Ironically, I get bored when I can't lose.

That's the point of these sliders, it's more about playing honest, but effectively toward a scheme. Putting successful drives together, and also truly paying for mistakes. So I think that it's a good thing that the game keep giving you a challenge. Many of us are struggling to keep one lol
