I don't intended in messing with the actual sliders this year, I really would like to enjoy the game for what it's worth and get through full franchise seasons. Creating slider sets is such hard work and very time consuming. The sad reality is that Madden well never play "perfect" realistic football, it's just not possible... yet anyways ... Due to actual programming of the game. Of course, many of us on Operation Sports love the challenge of trying to tune the game as best as we can to help make a fun and realistic experience for the community. That said, I have done so much work over the years and it's become exhausting, it's taken away time from actually enjoying the game. I personally would love to enjoy this year of Madden football and not be so picky. Yes there are going to be a bit of BS things that occur. At the end of the day It is a video game.

At the end of Madden 17's life cycle I did see some great things from default All-Pro sliders. This made me investigate a little more online and on YouTube about what exactly the Devs recommend for the best Simulation experience. I chatted with people I feel are reliable sources and viewed videos of different people's breakdown film studies and videos of people sharing their opinions. We all just want ratings to matter and see some of the things that happen in real life! The most frustrating part about making a slider set is that it can totally change in a week, EA releases new updates and tuners that throw off the whole set consistently. The second you figure out an issue, an update / tuner comes along to ruin your progression. This forces most of us to continuously restart our Connected Franchise over and over and over again... I just don't want to go through that cycle this year.

I've seen many guys in the community see great results from default sliders. Some may think All-Pro is "too easy", that may be true, but I'm not looking for what's easy or hard, I'm looking for what's fun and most realistic as possible. I'm looking for what gives me the best simulation experience.. All-Madden is just unfair and gives a crazy boost to the cpu so I don't intend on using it this year. I've been an All-Pro fan for years and now there's a Simulation style setting that I've personally been begging for. I'm excited for this year of Madden.

I realized my quest for perfection is unrealistic, but that won't stop me from possibly experimenting this year. I truly intend to stick it out with default All-Pro settings as I think that's what the Devs recommend. It's where they do their tuning and suggest it gives the best results .... BUT ... if I do feel default settings aren't cutting it for me and I'm to the point where I'm not enjoying my money spent on this game.... I will start tweaking sliders and going back to the "lab"... Lets hope I don't have to go there (which many of you are probably hoping it goes there lol). For the most part, don't expect drastic changes to settings and sliders. I would like to stay as default as I can.. This thread is mostly just to share what settings and sliders I use but I will adjust any slider I feel needs adjusting. I can't say I will never tweak any slider this year so please don't quote me on that... let's just see what happens.

I hope most of you return to my thread from last year. We had some great personalities and some great communication going on. This season I will not tolerate any bullying or inappropriate chatter. Let's keep this thread friendly..

Cheers brother! Happy NFL 2017, and Madden 18!
