The amount of unforced turnovers is rage inducing
I swear if my point guard randomly dribbles the ball off his leg one more time I'm going to shatter my disc.Tags: None -
Re: The amount of unforced turnovers is rage inducing
Can you be more specific? Is this happening to NBA players or your My player? What difficulty are you playing on? Does it happen driving in traffic or simply walking it up the court?

Re: The amount of unforced turnovers is rage inducing
I disagree. I feel like the turnovers are justified this year. They happen because of poor play, not because the CPU forces it (like in years past). You're probably forcing your drives into traffic, which is bad offense.
You should drive when there's a 1-on-1 mismatch and there's an open lane, like real basketball.Comment

It would be nice to see video footage documenting any concerns or complaints this year just so there is no misunderstanding or unnecessary patch work. PS4 or XB1 share function captures video and then you could upload it to youtube.Comment

Re: The amount of unforced turnovers is rage inducing
Just curious if the following video is what you're referring to. This is me trying to force a dribble drive. The ball hits Kyrie Irving in the leg and the ball gets knocked loose. This is what happens when I try to force things.

No, hell no. I play on Superstar default settings, MyLeague. I literally (this is not hyperbole) had Ricky Rubio steal the ball from me (Jamal Murray) just walking it up the court THREE times in a row. I would be walking it up and just above the 3 point line Ricky would come body me and Jamal immediately just dribbles it off his leg. The last time I even walked it up while holding left trigger and it still happened.Just curious if the following video is what you're referring to. This is me trying to force a dribble drive. And then, if you want to use Jokic to occasionally lead a fast break or something just forget about it. Game thinks he's dwight with the ball or something.
I had 10 turnovers in the first half and about 6 of them were my dudes just being ridiculously clumsy.
Of course, Jamal Murray isn't a typical point guard and Rubio is a decent defender but it's absurd. Jamal can dribble the ball without turning it over. And jokic was going against Gobert, but still.. same thing.
I'll record some video next time I play.Last edited by DreamAgain; 09-17-2017, 03:07 AM.Comment

Re: The amount of unforced turnovers is rage inducing
Looking forward to the video for off the leg dribble self inflicting turnovers. I had the impression that you simply dribbled the ball off your leg trying to drive the paint or maybe even just dribbled off your legs without anyone around you. If Rubio actually bodied up on you causing you to lose your handles even if you were holding L2 to protect the ball, that's a different story. Meaning, if an object (i.e. Rubio) collides into another object (i.e. Murray), it would be understandable that could cause someone to lose their handles. But let's wait and see before judgment.SpoilerNo, hell no. I play on Superstar default settings, MyLeague. Still would like to see the video footage when you get a chance to catch some on film.
Secondly, hopefully I did the following correct, but would this video be considered Jokic leading the break or something similar?
Note: I only play on Hall of Fame default sliders.

Re: The amount of unforced turnovers is rage inducing
You all complaining on os reddit twitter facebook etc.
You want to kill this game with another patches learn how to play proper basketball if you want to dribble and not lose the ball call a iso use l2 to protect the ball make a little seperation and then start to make your dribbles.
If you guys just runing without purpose then yes you should lose the ball 10/10 till you chnge your mind.
I constatnly winning in PNO or myteam with more then 20 point lead all i see is guys doing what i just said.
Also no more bailout fouls to save their shameles 2k life.
Thanks 2k devs my rant over.

Re: The amount of unforced turnovers is rage inducing
I've been frequently initiating fastbreaks with Jokic online after he grabs the defensive rebound. Probably my favorite thing about this game right now.
Try and be more aware of your surroundings before hitting turbo.Comment

Re: The amount of unforced turnovers is rage inducing
The ball security slider is no placebo this year. Devs actually made it matter. Just look at the ball security slider being at 20 on default hof. Also, fatigue heavily factors into to a players ball security as well. Forces users to play smart. Leave this alone 2k please smh lol.

Re: The amount of unforced turnovers is rage inducing
Post a video if you want to stop all the "get better" comments people are saying tbh.
I personally haven't felt me losing the ball has been BS this year because it makes sense. Usually when I try to cheese a PnR or drive into a crowd of 3 people before trying to kick it out. In real life, most people are Curry or Kyrie and can dribble through 4 defenders. Haven't had the CPU pressure a regular inbound to strip my PG before, so I'm not sure I can visualize what you were referring to with RubioComment

Re: The amount of unforced turnovers is rage inducing
While it's frustrating I like how realistic it is that my LDD PF has trouble dribble without losing the ball. There were a couple of times I tried to dribble by my defender and then a help guy came to strip the ball out.Comment
