Axis Football let Ryan Moody make the announcement on his channel but Axis Football is now moving to home consoles with the PS4 & Xbox One this Summer!

If they can allow customization of teams on console and the ability to share creations it could be a hit.

They have been very active on Twitter answering a lot of questions about this and just to share some of the answers regarding different topics.

- They have said the Game Engine they are using is Unity. No 4K gaming this year, just HD. Says that on PS4/XBOX One the game should run smoother and look crisper.

- Someone asked about Franchise Mode and their response was "it's definitely getting attention".

- In regards to customization, it is not a big priority for them on consoles and more info will come later. Their big focus is game play and Franchise Mode. Hopefully for us customization is going to be huge within Franchise, given the amount of customization options NBA 2K gives us within MyLeague/GM, not expecting that level of customization immediately but they have shown the consoles can handle a good amount of customization options.

I am incredibly excited by the prospect of a Madden alternative! A different game with offline franchise? Very exciting indeed!

The 17 version for the PC is solid with the latest patch. Can't wait for 18 on the PS4.

I’m interested in creating teams. From the upcoming season, to historic rosters.

Anyone know if you can take the PC version of team files, and convert them to PS4 and Xbox 1? If that’s something added, existing owners can transfer from the PC to a console and keep their existing teams.

That's pretty big to put all that out there and say that this is what will be in it. Especially the Franchise Info, the Franchise info to me is the big thing. I know they said on Twitter that they would put a big focus on it so we'll see if all of that delivers.

They've been working towards this for the last couple of years, so here's hoping they implement all of these features. The latest version of the game featured great customization features, but the modding community for the game is nearly non-existent. It would be smart of the developers to incentivize some modders to show what the game can do.
