Last week's game was the first time in a long time anyone came that well prepared to play us. We've always struggled against pressure and we've always struggled against the option, and it showed. We might have won had Jordan not thrown five picks, but we still struggled in many other areas.
Your Hokies and Coach Lane Kiffin come to town after the bye with a much different offensive philosophy and many more talented defenders, so we'll see what happens then. Tech did manage to beat us last year and they are the most talented team we'll see all year, so we certainly are not trending in the right direction. Hopefully the bye can straighten things out a bit, fingers crossed in the meantime.
Thanks for checking in as always!
