I get irrationally angry watching gameplay videos of guys “x”ing through every presentation element possible. He even skipped the halftime show so we can’t see it play out. I know it’s just more of the same , but Christ, let the game breathe a little so we can get a closer look at details... SMH.

2:33 mark, awesome QB escape from the pass rusher. In M18 the QB would have been sacked due to suction tackling.

3:34 mark, nice spin move by Elliott, but most importantly, on the tackle, he continued to spin as opposed to being suctioned into a stop tackle animation.

6:16 mark, FB lead blocking clips a defender before continuing downfield blocking. Looked nice.

8:50 mark, still stalemate line blocking. Brady got 5 seconds in the pocket and could have stayed longer.

9:20 mark, is a halfback curl for a completion. This is a play where the defender could have been closer in coverage, placing a hand on the receiver would have made it more believable, to make it appear like teh defender is watching the QB while still being aware of the receiver's location.

9:41 mark, really nice looking, believable interception.

11:00 mark, believable truck by Elliott on CB Gilmore.

13:43 mark, Elliott on a delayed curl route is covered nicely by the defender. looks better than the coverage seen at the 9:20 mark, curl pattern.

16:06 mark, too long in the pocket, but that happens at times. I like how the LT was pushed into Prescott and the Left side rusher finally pulled around the outside of the RT. The rush could have been faster, but feet were still moving in a believable manner for LB Hightower on his bull rush.

NOTE: seeing a number of plays with double-team blocks where one of the blockers will peel off to pick up a threat. Looks believable.

absolutely infuriating how this guy is trying to zig zag all around and make flashy plays and then when the CPU gets a really nice looking reach sack on him with Hightower he complains about the new feature, says reach sacks dont happen that often in the NFL, and calls for it to get 'toned down'. really hope EA doesn't listen to these guys at all when balancing Simulation mode.

Tis the season where I have to hear videos with “AND HERES (x player) COMIN IN..... WITH THE SWAT(or catch or tackle or juke)” *video of gameplay suddenly slows down, zooms in on out of focused play, filter applied to video, *cue hype EDM bass drop*, same sequence of animation replayed 3 times

Welcome to a gaming community that EA Tiburon created during the "dark" years. These fools learned how to play the game like this because back then it was so bad. Now they created their own cult with it. It's absolutely BEYOND infuriating.

I really believe this is part of the reason why we get some of the changes that we do in madden.

So many missed opportunities for big runs with Elliott, because he was too concerned with bouncing everything to the sideline. Run blocking actually looked pretty good to me and there were nice lanes for Zeke.

I'm sure the main reason for it is a quantity over quality in a timed event. Content creators that went to EA Play had to record enough type of gameplay to last from EA Play to release.

I watched a video by RBT and he admitted to rushing to a CFM season and not play games, so he can focus on the rebuild (In season Trades, and nfl draft)

I stopped watching 2 minutes in, can't stand the guy. Not just an annoying voice, but the way he plays.

On defense he takes a DB and just completely abandons his responsibility...that was the whole reason Gronk got the first down. Dude was deep 3rd and just bailed across the field...wtf?

Anywho...I know player models are an issue, but movement looks better.

Hear, hear. Maybe I'm getting old and cynical but this has never been my cup of tea. All the self-promotion, screaming commentary, bug-eyed thumbnail images and obvious clickbait makes me less likely to seek out content that might appeal to my own preferences.

Obviously, enough people watch this stuff to put it on EA's radar in the first place. But as a few above already mentioned, this is its own brand of football and content. It's not what the sim/offline/"true broadcast" community wants but EA feels it will move more units.

Gaming YouTube is a strange place. I'm much more of an unedited gameplay/machinima/documentary watcher and largely don't pay attention to the trends of the industry or fandom.

Game looks pretty good. Guy playing it was a dope. Like how many spin moves are you going to try?

Saw some instasheds that were pretty non-sensical. Also, I really don't like those tackles where the defender just knock an offensive player back like he got shot. All ball carriers are taught to brace for contact no matter what speed they are running at.
