Injury Slider
Anyone find a good balance for the injury slider? Most slider sets have it too low imo. I had it at 40 and had 5 players go down in the same game, I now have it at 35 and I feel like not enough injuries happen. There shouldn't be teams with no injuries at the half way point of the season.

Re: Injury Slider
I've been looking into this but have not settled on anything permanent. I do think if you want realism you need to have a high level of injuries as the NFL is a game of attrition. I do tend to balance the injury and stamina sliders so the combination equals 100. (ex: If injury is 40 then Stamina is 60 =100). Where do you have Stamina?EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure. -
Re: Injury Slider
I'm surprised you found 35 too low. At 20 both teams were getting decimated for me.
At 10 it was too low for me. At 13...well I just lost three starting, star players in one game. Maybe it was bad luck at 13, but I may try 12

Re: Injury Slider
I have mine set at 51. There are a lot of injuries league wide. Its perfect, most teams have at least 5 players out, some have eight to ten guys out. I have 3 on IR, two out for 8 weeks, 3 out 3 weeks. Guys get hurt in game and miss only rest of game, that happens to about two/three players per game. Set at 51 seems more like the real NFL as far as how many guys limp off.Comment

It's at 55 currently. It's odd that everybody seems to be having a different experience with it.I've been looking into this but have not settled on anything permanent. Re: Injury Slider
I’ve been playing at around 17 and my current franchise team has 5 people out during week 13. I’ve had 7 at once at one point. I’m fine with it at 17. I usually see anywhere between 3-5 guys go down (but not necessarily out) per game. I feel like 17 is a good number for me.
I’m also at 55 fatigue btw (Armor & Swords sliders). For sims I set it at 52.Comment

Re: Injury Slider
My online one is set to 20 and there are so many *** **** injuries. My offline one is set to 5 and there barely any but I keep forgetting to change it. I'd imagine 12-15 would be good.RIP- sean taylorComment

Re: Injury Slider
Mine is set somewhere between 15-20. I'm still figuring it out. It is a very fine line. I'm ok w/ the injuries but sheesh... not when every other play results in an "abdominal strain"Comment

Re: Injury Slider
I keep bouncing mine between 15-20.
I actually am aiming for slightly lower than real life injury averages, not because I feel strongly about having less injures, but more because the CPU AI is ATROCIOUS at dealing with a lot of injuries at once.
If the CPU AI delt with injuries competently, I would put it around 30-35.Comment

Re: Injury Slider
It could be the difference between playing and simming. I had my injury setting at like 55, and players were literally getting hurt every other play in games, without exaggeration. It was completely mind blowingly stupid. It was fairly realistic for simming, however.Comment

Re: Injury Slider
It seems no matter what I put my injury slider at I’m still going to lose a 90 rated player for 6 or more weeks.
Earlier I was playing and my 73 overall LB went down with a injury but was minor and was able to return, then 2 plays later my 90 overall RB gets a 7 week injury...never fails lolComment

with it at 13, I went 1 game with no injuries. Next game: D-Law, Zeke, and Julius Thomas all out six weeks. Cost me a playoff win.
1 game into 2019 and I've lost Zack Martin for 8 weeks.Comment
