Zero injuries and one fumble in 13 games (PS4)

As the title says, I've played 13 regular season games since the first main patch about three weeks ago. In that time I've seen one fumble and not a single player has been injured, even for a snap.

I read the new patch notes and they talk about making fumbles less likely... this makes me wonder if there's an issue at my end. I really don't want to re-download and reinstall but not sure what alternative I've got at this point.

I assume no one else is having these issues?

I have 1-5 injuries per game. From out for quarter to 7 weeks. 0-2 fumbles per game. (on PC) I only played 5 games after the latest patch but it seems that fumbles do appear less likely

Just checked and every AI roster is absolutely crippled with injuries. It's simming them but they don't happen when I'm playing.

Still no fumbles so I've tweaked that slider.

Fumbles were destroyed by patch. Nothing in sims,.... nothing.

You're legitimately the first person I've come across that isn't having issues with way too many injuries lol. Most people have to turn down the injury slider, mine is at 13 right now and I still get a few every game. On default, my first game had a combined 10+ (don't remember the exact number) lol.

Are you playing on simulation mode, or one of the other ones?

I am in an online franchise with 20 total users. Fumbles have been rare from the start and injuries nonexistent. I have injuries turned up to 50. All pro, competitive mode.

i have several injuries in every game as well. In one game, both my starting HB and the Backup got injured. I had to use the third string HB the whole game...

Well in this instance, competitive mode is likely why you aren't seeing many fumbles or injuries. These are both things that are tuned way down in competitive mode because that mode was designed with competitions in mind. Where things like injuries and turnovers are frowned upon.

I was going to say exactly that.

OP I think competitive turns injuries off entirely, but at very minimum turns the likelihood of them WAY down

That might be the reason - I've been using Competitive mode. But that mode had plenty of fumbles and injuries last year, they were just based on the stats of the players.

That's very annoying - most of my frustrations with how Madden 19 played were instantly resolved when I switched to Competitive and the game stopped doing stupid unrealistic **** to screw me over. Will have to think how I deal with this.

I'm not having issues with either. In fact my QB seems to fumble multiple times per game.
