Re: Player Models 18 vs 19
The player models look far better in 19 than 18 in my opinion. Specifically, the fact that the shoulder pad acts independent of the player model now as opposed to years past. Also, player’s quad shape is much better than previous iterations. Look at actual players in an image search engine and compare their lower body shape; you’ll see that they have this looking so much better than it ever has.
The artwork department has nailed it as usual, but the gameplay team needs to work on better animating these models in my opinion.

Re: Player Models 18 vs 19
I would say 19 for the most part looks better. Some players are still off & odd looking. There still are many players with the small beetle juice heads & missing necks. I've just come to gripes that this is the best were going to get from EA unfortunately. It is what it is. The editing tools they give are not very helpful (useless) and only can be used outside CFM, which is a head scratcher. If PC every gets a mod for this, ill be switching to PC.Last edited by Darth Aegis; 09-20-2018, 02:07 PM.OS needs a Thumbs DOWN button

Re: Player Models 18 vs 19
I did not purchase Madden 18, but watched enough videos whereas I think can offer an opinion. I thought the player models in 18 looked really good. Actually, the graphics overall were the best I've ever seen in Madden.
The player models seem a bit off in Madden 19. Some of the players look fine, but others have rather long torsos. I also do not like the look of the shoulder pads. In real life, shoulder pads are more compact and tight to the players' shoulders, rather than the bulkier appearance present in Madden 19.Comment

Re: Player Models 18 vs 19
I had 17 but not 18. As always, certain things are better, and some are worse. I think the shoulder pads are too wide on many players, sometimes the head is too small, or maybe a combination of a bit of both. Case Keenum's shoulder pads are far too wide, for example.
Also, body composition is a bit off, specifically the torso is too long. Cole Beasley is short, but the way they designed him in the game, he looks tall. He has an excessively long torso, as does Ryan Switzer. Their body build is the exact same of taller receivers like 6'3" guys.Comment

Re: Player Models 18 vs 19
EA just really needs to open up the body models editor and give us the ability to change them to our liking. Even if its just a template of various different player models & body types.. Not sure why user customization is such a non existent thing in sports titles. I mean we basically would be saving them work/time of fixing or improving them.OS needs a Thumbs DOWN button

Re: Player Models 18 vs 19
Man, you couldnt be more correct about the head sizes. Just picking a different face can make a HUGE difference in a players head size. If they do not fix this legacy bug, they have GOT to make a head size slider. This should not be hard to accomplish and has been an issue for years now.
