Ok just how the does work, I learned about it today ( new to 2k) I attempt to walk up to the wheel before the room fills, I hit every button possible and nothing. Then the room fills and I’m surly not able to claim one of the blue circles then.

It's basically just luck if you get the spot. I believe you just press X to get on the spot, but with how many people are trying it, it takes forever.

I have yet to reach the spot

It’s a horribly designed system. I spent about 30 minutes trying (and failing) to get a spot. The only reason I was able to spin was because I got lucky one time and got into a room with only five other people total.

Just 1 wheel with 5 spots was horribly short-sighted

20 players trying to hop onto the same 5th spot at the same time

I've entered that room 3 times to try, and every single there was a big amount of people waiting for a "got next" spot. If the "grind to 99" wasn't enough (without buying VC), 2K expect us to be in line for minutes and minutes to take that wheel. As the famous quote says: "I ain't got time for that", maybe if they let us take it without waiting. Nice concept, bad execution.

I’m got it to work twice officially the 2nd time I won a free Nike item but I can’t figure out how to cash it in. It’s not worth as it’s just crowded like a pack of hungry wolves fighting over the last steak. I would rather just play a game then wait around fighting for a spot for this

This works every time. Guaranteed.

If you stand on the right of all the spots in front of the wheel and spam X you'll cut through the line and get the last spot on the left. Idk how or why but it works.

This is exactly what i do is stand at the spot right in front of the wheel and instead of going to the 5th spot i get put in the 2nd spot

This is how I do too, sometimes it will take 30 seconds of tapping X, but so far it worked every time.

I am having a similar issue the nike shoes I won showed up but the UA haven't unless I am just overlooking them somehow.

My footlocker, NBA store, and NIKE items all appeared in my inventory after I won them. You just have to search.

And to echo others...queuing up on the spot directly in front of the wheel will and spamming X as the person finishes his spin will get you in line every time.

If you get free stuff from 2k you know they won't make it easy for you. Its designed that way....

They could put the wheel on My court or the nba2k phone app to make it easy for you. But nope.....
