NBA 2K19 - CelticLG's Attention to detail port to SWITCH

    Hey guys!

As some of you may know I was working on porting CelticLG's amazing work to NBA 2K19 switch, and even though it's not 100% done (more on that later), it's as done as It'll ever be, it has almost all of the features he released for us on other platforms to add for our own versions, plus a couple of small things (like more updated transfers & Da Czar's latest playbooks) and it's finally released to download on Switch:

Filename: CelticLG Attention to detail OS

How can this roster exist on Switch?

100% of the credit is split between CelticLG, who not only took the time to research, find, test and curate the best available features and edits from different roster creators across the map and different consoles, but he even went as far as to record most of this work on spreadsheets and youtube videos, so those of us in other consoles could transfer most of those features into our very own rosters. I really can't thank him enough for the time he spent so others outside PS4 could enjoy his work and easily bring it to life.

The rest of the credit obviously goes to all those smart, hard-working roster creators whose work he chose to be part of this project. Just like him (but actually including him as well since many of the features were created by him!) they shared their work selflessly for all of us to enjoy.

All credit to them (of course creators will be mentioned next to the roster features below).

All I did was try to incorporate as many of CelticLG's roster features as I could into my very own file, and once I saw no one else was working on a roster for Switch, decided to release it so others could enjoy and maybe (hopefully) someone could even take it as their own and improve it even further.

So why releasing if it's 90ish percent done instead of 100%?

    Spoiler

Fear not, however, as most of the work is done, here's the feature list, taking direct quotes from CelticLG's own feature list (in green), and detailing what's missing/was added (if anything):

    So that's all folks

As I mentioned, I did my best and I consider my work on it done. I think it's ready and I'll use it for my own personal season.

But there's still a couple of things that could be added/improved.

So again, If someone (or a group of someones) on Switch could take this file as the base and work on it just a little more adding those last couple of missing things, plus whatever updates keep getting released, it would end up being the perfect and best available experience for all of us Switch users out there.

Tendencies, attributes, and playbooks could still use some work. As I mentioned I'll be on the lookout and add whatever updated 2019 playbook sets end up being the best whenever it gets released, but that could take a while.

Anyone on Switch, feel free to take the file and keep working on it as your own, just keep us updated on what are you doing with it so we can use it, and always remember to give credit to CelticLG and the creators since this is all their work.

Also I manually transcribed thousands of numbers from spreadsheets/youtube into the Switch's tiny screen, so if you spot a difference with CelticLG's work please let me know so I can fix it!

    Thanks and enjoy!

Options features, create roster, user created roster. Search by name.

Then make sure when you play quick matches you're using that roster from the team select screen (I believe left stick button lets you select roster) and same when you're starting a season.

what are some edits that still need to be done?

I want to take this project over.

            Maybe some OVR boosts.

Hey I am interested in this project mainly on the attributes and the tendencies part. But I'm a student atm so I might have limited contribution to this project, but i would like to have some conversation with people experienced on editing tendencies and attributes to make this project great. Cheers.

Hey guys, thanks for your interest. As I mentioned this project has hundreds and hundreds of modifications and improvements all over the board, but there's still a couple of things that could be added/improved.

The best way to go about it would be to take advantage of what others have worked on for other consoles and incorporate/transcribe (with full credit of course) all those changes into this switch roster.

                  1) As I mentioned on my OP regarding SIGNATURES, pretty much every player already has their signature SHOTS updated going by CelticLG's spreadsheet, BUT they're all still missing their signature dribble moves & dunk packages.

Currently, the best source to get those is Woody's channel where he goes through every updated signature for every single player on every team (from last season): https://www.youtube.com/user/woodytraore/videos

And as far as rookies, they're constantly being worked on on this thread:

                  https://forums.operationsports.com/f...ure-edits.html

                  2)
When it comes to TENDENCIES, as I mentioned every single player on every single team already has their: T/SHOT, T/SCLOSE /SUNDER T/SCL T/SCM T/SCR T/SMID T/SUSMID T/OSSMID tendencies (basically their first 9 columns of tendencies, all related to close and mid range shooting) fully up to date, going by celticLG's updates over Vannwolfhawk's original work which can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOQU...ature=youtu.be

The best way to go about finishing the remaining tendencies IMO would be to finish transcribing all of Vannwolfhawk's edits (ignoring those first 9 columns of tendencies from T/SHOT to T/OSSMID which are already more up to date on the file for every single player).

I already did that for Sixers-Bucks-Bulls-Cavs-Celtics-Clippers-Grizzlies, but the remaining teams are missing. You can find all of Vannwolfhawk's tendencies here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JjfM...u43FaFOsCk_iUa
(again, remember to skip the first 9 columns for every single player)

                  3) Finally as far as attributes go, the best source I've found and always used for up to date attributes has always been Rashidi. I've been a fan of his work since like 2K3 and whenever I got a game I always tried to get his attributes/roster.
Sadly, there's no roster video showing all of his up to date attributes as far as I know and his file is only on PS4.
I don't own that version of the game, so I don't see how it could be possible to transcribe his attributtes to switch other than someone who owned both versions firing up the file and manually comparing and updating the player attributes.

Sadly, his file isn't ready yet either, last time I saw he has around 105 players updated. Don't know if anyone knows another/better source for attributes.

                  https://forums.operationsports.com/f...nsider-12.html

Those are just my suggestions, as I mentioned the file is there, and anyone who wants to can take it and updated or make their own project as they see fit.

Just remember whoever is interested in doing so, try to be vocal about what you want done/what you can/would do, to see if more people are interested in doing it and it can be a collaboration and splitting all the work, instead of for example 2 different people ending up spending hours to manually add all of vannwolfhawk's or Rashidi's work.

Quick question. I tried to download your roster on the switch and it says the download file is corrupt and won't allow it. Is there any chance you could re-upload it?
