Kellen Overstreet Wins MWC Offense Player of the Week
For the second time this season, Kellen Overstreet was named the MWC OPOTW. Also for the second time this season, he did it without entering the game as the starter.
The first time he got the honor from coming in during a blowout and making it an even bigger blowout with a huge performance. This time, it came in relief for starter Nico Evans after he went down with an injury at the end of the first quarter.
Overstreet was fantastic, rushing for 162 yards on 22 carries and scoring two total touchdowns. Nico Evans has been great for the Cowboys, but they certainly seem to be in fine hands if he is forced to miss any time with his injury.
