Now I know we said that we weren't going to do it this year but... We couldn't stay away. SimWorld is glad to present to you The LEAGUE 2K19. For those of you that are not familiar with The LEAGUE, let me give you a brief rundown of what it is:

The League is indeed, a fictional league but there is so much more to it than that. As you guys know, we have been creating classes for some years now. While editing classes for 2K14 we came up with the idea to create a roster that was composed of only our draft class players. After making the roster, we added every element to it to make sure that it was legit as possible. Not only did we create salaries, statistics, past award winners and drafts but also continued the league each year with realistic off-season transactions.

As of 2K19, we are 5 years deep and have put together a detailed roster that is fictional, but has an authentic feel to it especially if you have been following these players over the years. Players and teams have their own identity. Some teams are in rebuild mode, stacking up on young players and draft picks. Some teams are in win now mode and value veterans and the possibility of winning a championship now over draft picks and young prospects. There so much under the hood here and we encourage you all to take the time to do so before you dive in.

Before you start to play, make sure you make you trade these picks to keep things accurate. They can be found below:

- Chicago Bulls receive Blazers 2019 unprotected 1st round pick

Yes thanks, sorry I wasn’t clear. The sw fictional sliders and simworld regular roster sliders have differing shot tendencies. I was just wondering why the variance since both sets were presumably made with same attribute/tendency guidelines.

Ok well this is something me and Ronyell discuss heavily when creating sliders, editing tendencies, playbooks etc. The NBA has a specific style of play so Ronyell was tasked with creating sliders to replicate the NBA. For The LEAGUE we had to approach differently because we have player types who really don't exist in the NBA currently. Mid range snipers for instance, or post dominant bigs ala 90s big men.

Lastly we Simworld editors all use the same scales. But we approach some things differently, we all have 1000% trust in what we putting out so we don't knock it lol.

I have to link the google doc to the 1st post still. And we still have a bunch of information for you guys who don't quite what we have cooked up with this file. By Saturday night/Sunday morning itll all be set and ready to go for LONG TERM MyLEAGUE(10 seasons worth of draft classes tested with file so far)

So I just got started with a full 30 team control season and look who goes down in the opener.. He only played 19 minutes with 11 points and 7 rebounds and they lost. Smh It's gonna be a long season for these guysIMG_20190713_205457.jpg

Today is the day I am starting my new MyLeague using The League and I am amped up. Been too busy so I haven't any time to play video games, so I am putting in a full day of 2K today.

Last year I used the Suns, and had a lot fun using a fast-paced, offensive, pick and roll heavy team with a starting line-up of Travion Branch, Jeremiah Lawson, Aymiel Cummings, Dominique Campbell, and Chance Kokuma.
I only got about three seasons in using SimWorld and VAWerewolf DC's but I played A LOT of games.

This year I want to build a different style of team. Either runnings my offense through the bigs, or using a more motion based scheme.

Trying to decide between rebuilding with the Raptors, Heat, or Clippers, of taking over an already established team like the Nets, Spurs or Kings. I just feel a little dirty taking over one of the top teams, but I haven't played enough 2k19 yet to be that good so I won't feel too bad.

Just thought I'd give you some feedback, let you know someone is loving this project that you worked so very hard on. I'll be playing it all summer, and using all your guys draft classes, so know that your hardwork is very much appreciated. I'll try to keep up with some regular updates.

One question to you Dreece and also to Sapp. How do you feel about us using the DC's out of order? Does it matter at all?

I've just used DC1 a ton (including last year) and DC2 a little bit so I was thinking of starting with DC3 for my new MyLeague. Is that disrespectful to the process?

What up bro. Truthfully no matter what team you use or where you start draft wise it's gonna be a wild ride. I would still start at DC1 tho. Although the classes are the same the under the hood elements are updated so there will be variation from what was released .

Don't feel dirty using a top team. Competition is stiff. With our MyLEAGUE sliders for the LEAGUE the CPU not as interested in giving up top draft picks for slop. And trading future picks tougher too. Lastly one key injury during a 58 game season and it may be over lol.

**Edit** don't use DC3 for LEAGUE Play until i give the green light. Later tonight may be done

Another thing Sapp is changing up the classes a bit every week or so. So last week's class will play out differently next week. Class order doesn't matter it's your world lol. Just let me put the icing on the cake 1st and you'll be all good.

Thanks for this roster ! I appreciate your hard work. I have two questions. Is it recommended to control all 30 teams for The League? If I only controlled one team would I experience issues years into MyLeague? Thanks!
