I hate to be the first to say it, but on what planet is Jamal Murray (A-) a better passer/playmaker than Jokic (B+)? Or when did Jakob Poeltl become reliable from mid range (B-) or half the other centers or players in the NBA?

Few things that stood out to me was Enes Kanter has a B- for 3pt shooting. Also Joe Ingles and Bojan Bogdanovic have an A- and B+ perimeter def grade. Wonder how they came up w that one lol. I'll stop there, I really am very excited for this game though

I didnt catch it if he did show the individual attributes in this video, but in another one of Brian's videos he shows the create a player suite (which is 100% unchanged from 2k19) except that they removed many ratings from the game.

I'm almost literally speechless over this. They seemed to have removed contested and moving shooting, contact dunk, help D IQ and PnR D IQ. Could be more, not sure. What the hell 2k? Im losing motivation to edit rosters this year. What direction are we going here? Why are we dumbing things down? Can't be badges for everything, unless everyones fine with ultimately rating every players skills from 0-4 and just making up an overall rating. Very concerned over this.

I'm loving the gameplay so far, but even that could change if every NBA player has the same help D IQ.

Pick - and - Roll D IQ and Help - D IQ are still in the game but under the "Mental" tag when editing (individual player screen).

Sucks they've decided to minimize the ratings, which likely means they've done the same with tendencies (?), but it'll make editing less arduous and draining. I'm also of the mindset that they do need more ratings to truly "differentiate" skillsets, skill levels and player types, but they seem to want to "streamline" everything (w/ added badges to "separate" tiers of players now, possibly). Oh well.....

Correction: Seems like they only removed the "Standing Lay-Up" tendency which was redundant anyway with the "Under the Basket" tendency doing essentially the same thing.

They were in the mental tab in 2k19 (I rarely go in there anyway other than to edit reaction time, mostly use quick edit) but all I saw was perimeter D and interior D like this is MyPlayer.
We need more ratings not less. I'd be shocked if I saw new tendencies, but that'd be nice.
2k21 will have no ratings, just an overall random number that can be scrolled up or down and 107 badges. Guys went from complaining that 2k doesn't use their full scale of 25-99 on individual ratings to now hoping they aren't limited to unequipped-HOF.

That makes sense about standing layup. Coulda just removed shot under basket and the everyone progresses to 99 bug with it lmao.

Classic players in the first year of retirement more than likely won't be in the game at release (remember Nash), only exception I can think of: Kobe.

Disappointed to see some of the players as CAPs last year, remain as CAP (especially Gary Clark)

Also looks like we're at 39 scanned rookies, which is less than last year, but several rookies haven't signed, so they're not in the game.

I also can't tell is Naz Reid or Bitadze have real faces or not.

I wish these videos would also show the FA list.

Boxout was removed also.

Im guessing they want us to use their new badges instead.
