Man coverage nerfed?

Just downloaded the patch and noticed that my pass rush is much subdued and my man coverage is shockingly porous. My 85+ overall cbs are getting thrown way out of the play now in man. Quit my first game because it was ridiculous. Didn’t have this problem pre-patch.

I have seen this too. Was thinking because I was playing with Oakland first with patch T. Hill torched me with 3 plus 50 yards to receptions. Just lost a game against Colts with bomb to TY. You might be on to something. Before I was making plays defensively.

I am not seeing that. To me man still plays the same. Well I only play online. So online there is no issue with man.

(No, not really...but I'm a Chiefs fan, and it's the Raiders, and I couldn't resist. Besides, I wouldn't call shenanigans to see that in a real box score this season)

That was funny but yeah he got me good. Just seeing if I can build Oakland hopefully Chiefs rRaiders rivalry.

With a suitable secondary (high MCV and PRS) plus appropriate shading man coverage is just fine.

Peep this thread for some really great tips on how to shade your man coverage. I've personally tested all of these in both SP and H2H games and can vouch for them.

To say it was nerfed would imply that it was working before the patch.

The passing game in general is not very good. Even the sim engine is off. Quarterbacks are all too accurate and pass coverage is non-existent.

I just played 3 games against the dolphins with dallas and they had a combined 6 incompletions. My defense doesn't respond to anything when in coverage

My secondary is stacked. I’m the saints and I have marshon Lattimore (96), Gareon Conley (80+), Marcus Williams (86), Malik hooker (87), vonn bell (80+)..

I’m able to shut offenses down and not really need any safety help. Able to go a lot of 1 on 1 man.

I'm confused.... didn't you start this thread saying your coverage play was horrendous since the patch ?
