    Coach Mode

    Does this game have a coach mode? I understood that last years game did not have it and the dev on this forum said it was on the wish list.

      I believe I read in the FAQ thread that they do not.

                      Just tried this out. If you hike the ball the QB will just stand there waiting for player input as it's your team.

                          Absolutely. I watched half of a CPU v CPU game the other night while eating dinner to check out some tweaks we've made. Pacing was good. QBs called audibles, good balance of run/pass, etc.

                              This could be a cool feature. Basically you control the team like in dynasty and in games you just call the plays and watch the CPU run them?

                                  And nothing new - Maddens have it (past, and work arounds for the present), NCAA football has it, Axis Football has it, NFL 2k series you could do it, the old original Maximum Football on PC (back in '05 I think) had it - it is a good feature. Some people, like me, like to play their football games more cerebrally - playing as a pure strategy game (as GM and coach) and taking the action reflexes/controller part out of the game. I hope the series see this as something to embrace as an option in the future.
