They mentioned building your team... in the brief description, and said more customization across the board, and the hat that comes with the limited edition has a picture of a stadium on it.

I am sorry this is all crap. Fully embracing the Micro Transaction, give us all your money approach. This isn't paying to get access early, this is being penalized for not buying into the Ultimate Team, DD, pay to play scenario. This game releases on 3/13 unless you can't afford it or don't want the online crap. They should be ashamed of themselves, $D$ The $how, more like EA The $how. I am out just on this principle alone.

These are all good points, but if SDS is to be believed, a stadium builder would only happen if no other additions/upgrades to the game were made.

That was their statement several years ago, when the calls for a stadium upgrade began in earnest. Perhaps something changed, but - especially with PS5 just around the corner - I'd imagine they'd wait for new hardware to come out to add that feature.

I do hope I am wrong though...I've wanted this to be added for years as well.

Yeah, while the expanded Front Office description under Road to October sounds promising, it's a bit alarming there's no mention of Franchise, and that it seems to be a focus on online team building (i.e. - DD)

Covers have NEVER gotten me excited. I’ve always hated the late release of the game as it sort of made spring training a moot point. Nice to have an earlier release, but why, all of a sudden? DD, MTO, online, never been my cup of tea. Can actually say I’ve never in tried the home run derby, just wanted a deep franchise, great atmosphere, graphics.

It’s a good game, but stale as hell. If they intend to now run with MTO.....will have to consider the options. No sense in purchasing a game that looks and feels like ‘19. It is what it is. No wishlist will change their direction.

Earlier release = more time for people to spend their money in DD, sadly. Sounds like they plan on going full in with MTO, which is discouraging. I think that put the final nail in the coffin for any hopes of the franchise we want. I'm looking very hard at the new Japan baseball game already.

Great way to alienate your customer base. Allow the early release for all versions it won’t kill them.

I dunno. I figure it'll still be around on ps4 3 or 4 more years. so, Show 23 or 24 for ps4?


but then again, I was kinda surprised Show 16 was the last for ps3, since the last ps2 Show was 11 and the first Show for ps3 was Show 07
