I think you're being a tad unfair. Nothing wrong with comparing Madden with real life, the people in these forums who complain about AI issues do that all the time. As someone who grew up a Giants fan I know all too well the importance of long snappers.

I'm just saying that it's surprising they can't find one of 52 other players capable of long snapping. It's not a matter of long snapping being important, it's a matter of is it so specialized and unique a skill that you have to have one person dedicated to doing only that, not even being a backup at any other position? And while I'm comparing Madden I'll also note that Madden, a game that considers "LT" and "RT" and "LOLB" and "ROLB" completely different positions, doesn't yet have a "LS" position.
