What’s your favorite camera angle to play?

I’ve been playing NBA2k for about 20 years easy. Ever since them Sega Dreamcast days. I’ve played on broadcast camera view for ever. Lol. However, I decided to switch it up and tried other angles until I’ve tried the 2kcam with some edits. I think the zoom is on 10 and the height is 1. Everything else is default and I absolutely love it. Believe it or not, I still play everything from NBA2k14 to 2k20 on Xbox one with that camera view. I’m still having a blast on them games. So I would like to know, what’s y’all favorite camera to play on?

I was playing that camera angle as well for a while. It’s a very fun angle to play on. I decided to go back to broadcast this morning tho. Lol. I missed that simulation look.

Broadcast without a doubt. Ive tried almost all of them just to have a different experience. Always go back to broadcast. I bought it for the sim experience. I like to feel like I'm watching on tv.

Nobody else likes it but I only play on Player Lock, fairly zoomed in and height as low as it goes. To me it’s the most like being on the court. What most people don’t like is all the camera movement, but you get used to it, and now if i play broadcast or 2kcam everything feels too still. Also on Player Lock you don’t have a godlike birds eye view of the whole court, so it feels more like a first-person POV to me, which again feels more realistic to me

Broadcast baby. That’s how it is televised. We all want a realistic game and the camera angle should add to the realism.

Never seen TNT or ESPN broadcast games in nosebleeds or skybox or 2K cam (whatever the angel is called from behind the rim).

Yeah, but realistically if you're playing, you're not seeing the court from the side.

I totally get why people play broadcast, but I disagree that it's the more "realistic" setting.

Personally, I play 2k, because I like looking in the basic direction players look. I'd probably play drive, but the constant motion of it (and the weird delay on a change of possession) kinda gives me a headache, especially on longer passes.

But really, there's no "realistic" or "sim" camera angle for playing.

Well now I’m playing on the 2k cam with default settings. I understand why its recommended so highly. I absolutely love that angle. You can see everything.

You can back it out to 3 and still be able to see when the ball is in the corner. But I also play on default typically.
