[Spreadsheet] MLB The Show Franchise Companion (2020 Update)

    Hey MLB fans,

Here is a link to my updated MLB The Show Franchise Companion:

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing

It contains User Statistics, Player Statistics (with Wins Above Replacement), full league Standings (with Playoff Odds) and more.

If you're interested in using the spreadsheet for your own franchise, follow the link then hit File>Make A Copy. This will save a copy of the spreadsheet to your Google Drive. From there, you can continue to use Google Sheets or download the spreadsheet as an Excel file (I personally use Google Sheets, with the window Zoom at 67%). As an Excel file, you'll have to tinker around with the formatting a little bit but all of the formulas and references should be just fine.

The best place to start would probably be the Tutorial tab. If you have any other questions or suggestions, let me know.

Excuse me for being perhaps dense, but what's the purpose of this? Why do you need to track the stats outside of the game? Or is this to make it easier to visualize stats for something like Franchise Reports you would write up on the forums?
I won't ask for Christmas or birthday gifts if you subscribe to the Operation Sports Newsletter (Not Just Another Roster Update). I write it, and it hits your inbox every Friday morning (for freeeeeee). We also have an official OS Discord you can now join.

These companions are great but unfortunately, for me, only with an API to feed the stats, I can’t imagine entering all that by hand over and over.

A great reason to give us one SDS!

Just seems unthinkable to enter the stats by hand game after game after game...

There are many people here (not just in the MLB forums btw) that still use notebooks and record hand written stats that take literally hours to record.

Trust me, there are creatures of habit out there!

Although I do not do the handwritten technique, I will definitely add this to my folder along with the one that tracks NCAA dynasties, as well as Madden.

          Thank you OP!

Thanks man!! I have my own that I create but it is always pretty plain. I like the logos and your layout.

Did you know that you can turn this into an app for your phone? Go to website called Glide Apps and you can turn the google sheet into an app and you can then edit everything from within the app. I am a teacher and I am currently exploring with this for my students.

Looks amazing. Appreciate the time and effort to do this. Will definitely be using this in my next Franchise.
