I‘ve tested the ice friction numbers once again. Maybe 60 is to high, 30 seems too arcade-like but 40 has an authentic feel. Just try for yourself, but I think you will feel the same.

I feel like it's fine at 60 but I was at 40 before. I'll try it again. I just think that there are moments (I've always felt this) where the game ramps up the pace and where it's almost like individual players start moving as though they are shot at lower frames per second. Like an old silent movie. What it feels like is that there are friction levels at which there is a "snap" effect where they fall out of the level you've set and they go down on the slider by about 10-15 clicks, perhaps to create this energetic pace. Players seem in these moments able to turn instantly and fire shots, seem able to brake and change direction too quickly, And I saw it less at 60. But this could be in my head, I don't know.

Ok, well I just tried it at 40 as you suggested. Not bad. But I preferred it at 60, particularly because the first game of my Leafs season was against the Habs and I forgot that in 2K10, rivalries had game ratings ramped up (I think) to be more exciting. But regardless I felt that 60 felt more natural.

Roster Update January 13th 2020:

This will be the last update until trade deadline.
- All transactions made
- Created a bunch of missing rookies again ( Siegenthaler/Capitals, Bemström, Lilja/Jackets, Shestyorkin/Rangers,....)
- Edited some ratings

Roster Update January 13th 2020:

I really really wish there was a 2K10 editor so that one could just copy-paste out the ratings of your new players and plug them into my current roster file or season mode. Shame we don't have one.

I mean season mode, no, but to move players from one roster file to another is a matter of copy paste in the csv file and Reassign id...

Holy crap, I totally forgot about it. I think this all came about when I started a new job and didn't really look into it. I'll have to boot up the editor and see what can be done with it.

Anyone using it for anything in particular today?

Yes I am using it (well, a newer version) to mod NHL2K11.
I can use it for most things I need but trade players. That I need to do ingame.

I don't know what the heck is going on. I'm starting to think maybe there's an issue with the ratings or some kind of scripting is going on in season mode when we do this many modifications to a roster file but I have lost 13 in a row with these and also Neo's sliders. If I'm lucky I get one goal at some point in the third period. Every single CPU breakaway is a goal, I think one was missed. I know the Leafs aren't the greatest team right now but Andersen should not be getting beaten this badly by 4th line players on the Rangers. The CPU scores a hat trick against me in every game.

Anyone else having this extreme of results?

I´m working on NHL2K7 , NHL 07 and NHL 2K5 PS2 rosters for the emulator PCSX2. When i finish this updates i will work in a new update of NHL 2K10 X360 ;-)

Just an update for everyone. Molifox is currently working on the PCSX2 nhl games. With his blessing, I’ve been updating captains, numbers and equipment for the NHL players. I’ve currently updated all team numbers and captains. As far as equipment, I’ve done Ana-Pitt (as accurate as possible) quite an undertaking. If anyone would like to help with rookies and ratings, please contact me.

Made some significant progress since I started helping molifox. Here are some updates:

Things done since last file by molifox:
1. All skater equipment for NHL edited to as accurate as possible. Goalie gear was completed but, hit a snag with an import and need to redo 95-98% of goalies
2. Added and rated 20+missing players (rookies,etc. List of names will come out when file is ready)
3. All numbers and captains are accurate
4. Edited lines to reflect last game played by each team in March
5. Started to trim rosters according to team's official website

Still to do:
1. Add a few more players to a select few teams due to IR and LTIR
2. Correct goalie gear colors
3. Make some moves that were under the radar (e.g.: Bogosian to TB, Matt Irwin to ANA, etc)
4. Continue to trim rosters (only 1 or 2 teams left - CBJ I know with all of their injuries need some extra players)
