Man, you guys are killing it!

    Dynamic attendance.
    Medical redshirts.
Pre-game highlighting players with Corso's pick.

Off the top of my head, those are some of the reason I'm still playing the PS2 versions of NCAA.

      player violations
      suspending players
      teams put on probation.

televised games with commentary vs  games against lowly ranked opponents with  no commentary.

        Man that made me sad.

        Composure for players
        Probation/suspension for players and teams
        Medical redshirts

There were a lot of great features in those games.

Oh, composure is a good one, though I still get sort of nauseous thinking about the shaking screen. The probation/suspension one felt so obvious for why they had to can it that it almost feels mean wishing for it.

Probation was a good idea but terrible implementation. Your program would go on sanctions because players didn’t eat lunch

I doubt I'm the only one that downloaded and still plays the music playlist from NCAA 06.

And I loved the pennants that unlocked stadiums and cheats. I remember using about a half a dozen cheats in a game against Georgia. Totally crushed them by over 100. I also think that one game destroyed the team for a decade in my dynasty. (Kinda' regret doing that now.)

I also really liked the Spring Game feature that was in a few editions.

I used to like doing those Exams lol. I think I sticked mainly to math, but write down answers I got wrong so that I ace it the next year lol. I think there was Academic All Americans.

I liked the Race to Heisman modes. The newspaper s, door room, different girlfriend each year lol, actual little Heisman presentation. Then to transfer that player to the Madden PS2 Superstar mode.

The PS2 era was the golden age for Madden and NCAA. Heck, PS2 is still my favorite generation. That's when online wasn't as popular as it is now, so offline got all the love

Yeah I loved the Heisman presentation. I also liked the helmet being knocked off during big hits. But what I really loved was the fact that those games had every D-1AA team with their stadiums and their players can be edited and you could create a school, stadium and uniform right there in game

I am surprised that team entrances has not been mentioned yet.

Did those go away though? If you're talking during pregame, those were still in during the 360/PS3 era weren't they?

                          Why stop there?

PS1 games had the option for playoffs, accurate 1-AA/FCS stadiums, and the ability edit EVERY team’s schedule in Dynasty mode. I believe it also featured the East-West Shrine game.

They also offered a ton of pro stadiums for neutral site games—a feature I was glad to see back on PS3. You want to revisit the old Egg Bowl games in Jackson State’s Memorial Stadium? So be it!

The magazine features added immersion to the game...both NCAA and the newspapers for Madden at that time. As a tradition back in the day, I would go to the store and get the Athlon National magazine as soon as it dropped and edit the names of my roster. So, to actually see it in the game was cool.

Agree 100%. I liked the idea, not the frequency.

I'm kinda disappointed the video didn't hit on many of the gameplay or dynasty features that were lost.

Other ones I could think of that I miss:
                              -Medical Redshirts
                              -Spring Training w/ spring game
                              -In-game team creator
                              -Refs on the sidelines
                              -Pride stickers that actually worked
                              -Custom fan signs
