Thought we were supposed to get guest commentary from time to time, not just Snoop who I'm sorry to me he has nothing to do with hockey.

I’m loving nhl 20 but the snoop stuff is so cringey.

2Ks guest spots with Kobe and KG are great. Maybe because they’re relevant to the sport.

I'm fine with having Snoop as ONE of the guests. But, you have to have a lot more hockey personalities for this. Why not Biz, Whitney, or the Barstool Chiclets guys? Why not Keith Jones or Pierre McGuire? Why not Don Cherry? Why not former players or NHL cover guys of years past?

Imagine if they got Gretzky, Lemieux, Roenick, Hull as guest commentators, you know, guys that actually are relevant to hockey.

I don't care if it's bland, I'd rather take their genuine authentic output that some fake contrived Snoop Dogg slogans.

It's obviously EAs continue effort how to make something so "boring" like hockey game more attractive for black people.

As I said I'm actually a fan of Snoop (especially his older tracks produced by Neptunes ) , but I don't want them to spend money on repetitive gimmick, unless the core of the game is at least solid. The game is average at best and needs better direction.

He said that the addition of Snoop Dogg was to “attract” black people to hockey....as if only black people would find the addition of Snoop Dogg appealing.

It’s a flat out idiotic comment. I don’t even watch hockey like that and I know that the reason EA hired him was because he guest commented on a few Kings games and people found him funny.

Maybe EA thought Snoop Dogg fans (black and white) would think it was cool. I hated it but maybe that’s what they were shooting for instead of solely appealing to blacks.

I learned that any mature debate or trying to be reasonable with these kind of people is waste of time. They are not ashamed to twist or deny the most obvious truth, even if they know nothing about the subject (marketing in this case).

It would end up with him calling you, me... and everyone else not agree with him idiotic, racist, homophobic "bad guy" that shouldn't be allowed post on the internet etc.

That's how this tiny % (but extremely loud) of people work and the only way how to deal with them is not to take them seriously, don't feed them with arguing, ignore them.

So is Snoopy Dog the only guest in NHL 20? Are there anymore? I just started playing NHL 20 and I only had Snoop Doggie Dog schizzel with the nizzel as the guest😂😂😂😂

No matter what was said or not and how you interpret it, I am not glad he was banned since "this clown" was one of the most contributing members on the NHL2K section with his 2KHS stuff and have been for years.


I don't want to continue this discussion as I personally don't like discussing race but generally I think that sometimes one can think twice about both how you write, but also how you chose to interpret a comment.


Was this a permanent ban?
