NCAA 11 is good stuff
It was my fav NCAA game last gen and popped it in the last few weeks and having a blast. I'm glad I kept it and didnt want to spend $150+ on NCAA 14. I remember I liked 14 but it wasn't my fav ncaa last gen. I think it may have been like 3rd or 4th in that era. 11 is pretty cheap to buy and really liking the balanced gameplay.Tags: None -

11 on the PS2 is my favorite NCAA title.
14 is a close 2nd. I play both every college football season. -

11 was a good game. I wonder if there are any updated rosters out there for it.Comment

To be honest, I'm a Notre Dame fan, and outside of major players, I couldn't tell you any of the names of players on other teams. So, by that thinking, what the hell do I need real names for? In college hoops it's different.Comment

Can you go into detail why 11 on the ps2 is your favorite. It's been a long time since I've pkayed it but after obly playing for less than an hour, I've noticed it has some glaring issues.

Why do you like it more than any other one?

Re: NCAA 11 is good stuff
It was just plain fun. Very balanced between running and passing. the graphics look more faded than ncaa 14 where the colors just pop. but gameplay wise it was more wide open than the other ncaa games I remember playing during last gen.Comment

Re: NCAA 11 is good stuff
I've been playing the 360 version of 11 some myself lately. For the most part I've enjoyed it. The only thing I don't like is that there is no broadcast camera angle...which sucks if you are a cpu vs CPU guy like me."Dunks are tough, but when a 35 footer come rainin out the sky...it'll wire you up"Comment

Re: NCAA 11 is good stuff
I’ve been playing the PS3 version of NCAA ‘11 for a week now, and I’m liking it better than ‘12 even.
NCAA ‘12 was great, but defense was so good that it wasn’t realistic when you think of how high-scoring the college game is. Another thing about ‘12 is that CPU defense was so aggressive that you had to create certain hot route combos to be successful, which led to cheesing. In NCAA ‘11, I’m finding that zone flooding works correctly; effectively yet not a sure thing, which is good.
Every game has its advantages and flaws, but so far I’m finding that NCAA ‘11 has all of the things that make building a program and competing for a National Championship, and I like that.Last edited by OBinKC; 03-08-2021, 05:13 PM.My Idaho Dynasty - https://forums.operationsports.com/f...4-dynasty.htmlComment

I'm presuming PS3 NCAA 11 has Supersim. That's a dealbreaker for me, I only like to play offense, plus it shortens the games.I’ve been playing the PS3 version of NCAA ‘11 for a week now, and I’m liking it better than ‘12 even.

I have the two on either side 10 and 12 and like you said each has their flaws. 12 the presentation and recruiting makes me like it more, but for me the game stalls too often. Can't remember what I didn't like about 10 at the moment.
What's the recruiting like for NCAA 11? I mean the high level, how it's done? Like 14 had just put so many points at a recruit, 12 had you call the recruit and talked about certain subjects (random, other versions you could choose the topic yourself).Space for rentComment
