Cool. Dude hasn't played in four years. I won't be picking him or any other guy that's been out of football for 4 years on my squad. Hopefully, he is rated correctly.

Read a report he was rated an 81 and ranked in the top 15 of all QB's, amazing they came to that conclusion with him having not played in years and not exactly setting the world on fire the last time he did play.

EDIT - He was rated a 74 last time he was in Madden so I guess he got better while not playing.

Past soundtrack mistakes? I thought it was a simple error. Good to see that he's back though.

The social justice warriors would crush EA and the madden team if they put him in and made him awful... Which is exactly what he was the last time he played.

This is odd given the reason Clowney wasn't on the Madden 21 default roster. They said they couldn't include him because he wasn't signed to a team which neither is Kap.

Rating seems high but glad he is back. You can always edit the rating if you have an issue with it.

Does anybody know if he is automatically added to the FA pool in franchise or would you have to restart to have him there?

Wondering if Tim Tebow will be added next? Maybe as an 85?

My point exactly! If EA wants to put him in the game...hey I'm all for it. It's their game and they can do what they want to do. But, if you want it to be taken seriously and not be seen as some publicity stunt, at least rate him as you would any other player who was 32 y/o and hadn't played in 4 years.

I know why they put him in, but that statement and his rating just make EA look dumb to people that know football.

And yet Chris Streveler, Grey Cup champion who's on the Cardinals roster, isn't in game yet.

                          I hate virtue signalling.

****ing hell, the dudes 81 too. What a crock of ****.

EA didn't own the rights to use Jadeveon Clowney in the game until he signed with the Titans.

Presumably EA signed a separate agreement with Colin Kaepernick in which he granted them permission to use his likeness in the game, similar to how every historic player in Ultimate Team is handled.

and yet Clowney, and Streveler, and many others aren't in the game. Actual NFL players.
